The Toronto Lover system: 5 stars = Must visit! 4 stars = Really good. I take my friends here. 3 stars = Somewhat worth it… if you have nowhere better to go. 2 stars = Below average. Attend only when necessary. 1 star = Do not visit! This is a neat little spot that’s up a flight of stairs between a gelato shop and a café with a nice patio. I have high demands when it comes to sushi; the restaurant is feeding me raw fish, after all. The service is reasonable, and you are generally greeted with a smile. I’ve never seen the place packed, which means your food arrives in good time. The sushi combos and special rolls are typically priced($ 10 – 15) and taste similar to most average sushi joints in the city. The vegetarian maki are a good choice($ 5) and will satisfy you more than you expect. There’s nothing flashy or spectacular about Sushi Q, but the price and location make it a suitable spot if you’re looking for sushi and want to go light on the wallet. It falls somewhere between 2 and 3 stars, but I feel like rounding up: 3 stars
