I have been coming here since I was 16 and they give the best facials in the city hands down. Claudine is a magician. I cannot survive a Toronto winter without her. I’ve recommended her to most of my friends who are now all customers. If you want to keep your skin happy and looking youthful — look no further.

I love this spa! It’s clean, professional, and affordable, and they always have some great promotion going on. The pedicures truly are the best in the city, and I’m becoming addicted to their opi gelcolor manicures. Waxing and laser here are also perfect. In fact, I’ve never had a bad service. Diana and Dina are the best, and Christina, Florabelle, and Jessica are awesome too.

Very very pleasant, smells like essential oils, extremely professional staff. Wish I was getting a manicure. That said, least painful and least intimidating I’ve had in a while.

Went there for brazilian waxing from Living Social. That was really bad experience. If I am not mistaken the name of the girl was Jessica (both times unfortunately was the same girl). She was very unfriendly but if it was the only minus. The waxing was so painful that I couldn’t imagine it could be so. I’ve been doing brazilian for a year and been to couple places but this was horrible. Moreover the girl wasn’t precise and didn’t remove all the hair. During the procedure she didn’t say even a single word. I would never recommend people go there for waxing.

Came to Studio Vis-​A-​Vis for a Brazillian via a living social deal. Front desk ladies were nice and courteous. Did not have to wait too long before I was brought in to start my wax.
Wish I had gotten the esthetician’s name, but she was very knowledgeable in what she was doing. New wax and sticks used each time, and the room was clean and sanitary as well. A nice and welcomed touch was disposable underwear being provided.
Nice and professional staff, clean and sanitary environment, and great results.
I’ll definitely be back here for my next Brazillian.

Came in here after purchasing a Living Social deal for a Brazilian wax. I’ve had a few nightmarish experiences in my search for a decently priced wax, but I was thrilled with Studio Vis a Vis. The salon is clean, the technicians are friendly, and they do a great job. I personally recommend Christina (and not just because we have the same name!)
To get extra bang for your buck, get your Brazilian done «on the budget» — come in on a Tuesday or a Wednesday, and pay only $ 30 for a Brazilian! They do other services on the cheap as well. The only catch is that you have to pre-​pay for the appointment, and if you don’t give 24 hours notice, you forfeit the money. But if you can swing it, I highly recommend it.
In short, this place is the rare but perfect trifecta of clean, professional, and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend it.

A Living Social deal for a Brazilian led me to Studio Vis-​A-​Vis. It’s located close to College and Ossington and was easy to get to by TTC. When I walked in, my coat was taken and I was checked in within 10 minutes. There was no attitude regarding me being through Living Social (as I’ve had at other establishments) and I sat to await my appointment.
My aesthetician, Florbela, came out, showed me to the room and left to let me disrobe. The room was small but clean. As I waited for Florbela to come back, I tried to calm my nerves at the pain I was about to inflict on myself. When she came back, she chit chatted with me while she got everything ready. I did enjoy the convo; it helped to keep me at ease. She used both soft and hard wax which I appreciate, because hard wax is essential for sensitive areas. We were over in 45 min; Florbela was extremely thorough and I was as smooth as a baby’s bottom when we were done. They had cream to get off the excess wax; I liked that there wasn’t much wax leftover on my skin so cleaning up was easy.
I was pleasantly surprised by Studio Vis-​a-​Vis. I would definitely go back there when I’m thinking of getting another Brazilian.
Note: If you’re prone to ingrowns, this is one of the few Brazilians I’ve had where I haven’t had any.
