Seriously disappointed in this store. Twice now, on a friday, I have gone by at 4 pm and they are closed. They are supposed to be open til 6! Bad business

being that i’m a thrifty person (otherwise known as cheapskate)… replacing my reading glasses wasn’t at the top of my list of priorities. after suffering countless headaches at work i knew it was time to finally upgrade. i was told this business was having a sale back in october and so i went in to take a look. the owner (andreas) was there, as he is everyday, and he was incredibly attentive, patient and knowledgeable. especially considering how high maintenance i was regarding the specific look i was going for. after a day of mulling it over, (while he held the last pair for me), i bit the bullet. he had the glasses ready in virtually no time and they fit perfectly. he gave me a cleaner as well as a cloth that cleans the lenses when they are dry.
sadly i have misplaced those glasses. they were the first pair in over 10 years that i’ve actually liked. my headaches were beginning to return so i broke out an ancient pair that are covered in scratches and sit crooked on my face. today i went in and explained my situation. he was sad to hear that i had lost them. without any hesitation he adjusted my old glasses (that i had bought from another store) and polished them up. they are like new! and i am so grateful that i didn’t have to buy a new pair.
here’s hoping i find them…
