Toronto Christmas Tradition — that is how this concert is touted but for 4 adults looking for some Christmas spirit it was a huge disappointment. I attend 1 Christmas Carol service/​concert annually and for years I attempted to purchase tickets for this sold out event. Finally in 2014 I woke up early and managed to get 4 tickets. What a disappointment. The program was boring and hardly «Christmassy». The acoustics awful. Voices were way too soft. The program is so internally focused on the school activities, and in school humour that public is ignore. This was more like a school concert. Now I know why the place is perpetually sold out … families and extended families of the choristers buy the seats. Would not recommend to the general public as a Christmas even. but great if you want to see your kid, or grandchild, or great. something or other sing.
