Nice small park containing a kid’s playground and small off-leash area within the surrounding neighbourhood condos. Several benches and many trees within the park that provides rest and shade for individuals seeking refuge from the sunshine. I’m presently dog sitting and he appears to be quite the snooty dog, he won’t play with the other dogs and constantly remains by my side. I told the other dog owners that he is just shy, so we’ll just stick to that. Am guessing, he just wants to go home now since it’s close to feeding time. Perhaps we should have stayed longer so he can get acquainted, but he was not wanting to and was waiting by the gates, so that was definitely an indication he was ready to leave. I will have to try again next time.

This is a very small dog park but it was only like three blocks from the Hyatt where we were staying with our dog. So that was convenient. It has wood chips instead of stones which my dog liked a little better. There is also a dog/human water fountain

Staying at apartment right across the street, nice small park for neighborhood dogs to stretch their legs and do their business. Everyone seems top know each other and all the dogs seem to get along. Also there is a small playground area for young kids

This is the smallest dog park downtown. It is a recent development to provide local residents with a fully enclosed off-leash area, so I guess its an improvement of sorts. Its extremely sandy, which leaves a heck of a mess all over you and your dog. They do have a water fountain that is accessible for both humans and dogs, which is a great addition in this hot weather! Its a good spot to go in a pinch, or if you have a dog that doesn’t like to run around too much, but you’re better off heading South 2 blocks and checking out Victoria Memorial Park.
