Description

Specialties

Dog walking and training. We are dogs walkers in Toronto and we offer private and group dog walks along with private training consultations.

When it comes to the relationships we have with our dogs, we believe that a truly happy dog works with you, not for you. Our goal is to provide a stress-free and effective learning (and bonding!) experience for both you and your dog through rewards-based training. It’s easier than you’d think — and a lot of fun, too. A happy dog will learn faster, play longer, and ultimately live a better life. Who wouldn’t want that?

We are a small business that provides one on one service for you and your dog. Whether it’s sending you a pic of your dog on a walk or following up with an email or phone about your dog’s day, we’re sure you’ll both be happy.

History

Established in 2011.

After working for another dog walking company in the city for over a year, Katie finally realised her dream to open her own business helping people with their pets. The enjoyment of walking dogs, training dogs and people has helped Katie’s business grow and is echoed through the satisfaction of her clients.

We currently provide dog walking throughout the Moore Park, Forrest Hill and Yonge and Eglinton areas.

Meet the Business Owner

Katie V.

Business Owner

Katie Virtue is the proud owner of Scarlett, a nearly three-year-old Great Dane. After spending too much time training Scarlett the wrong way, Katie finally sought the help of a professional trainer, who then became a good friend, and eventually a mentor. Katie fell in love with rewards-based training and decided to switch careers from book publishing to dog training. For the last year, Katie has been walking up to 18 dogs a day in order to learn all that she can about dog behaviour and use what she knows in order to keep her dogs safe and happy. In the evenings, Katie apprentices at Follow The Leader Dog Obedience School, where she will become an instructor and continue to work towards her board certification. Katie is active in Toronto’s dog professionals community. She attends as many industry seminars and conferences as she can to keep her knowledge and skills current so she can provide a quality service to her clients and their dogs.
