This store is moving so stock might be repetitive and limited at this time. If you like lace and the look of crochet then this is the place for you. It’s one size fits all and the sales person said it’s size S… but it looks a little bigger than a S but not quite big enough to be a M. If you have a large chest I doubt you would fit into much in here I saw some of the cutest knt/crochet type of shorts but since summer is over and there is a crisp in the air I decided to pass. A few colourful pieces but right now a lot of beige or black or white pieces. Prices are cheap but it looks like the material is not top quality — like the trend you wear for one season so just save your money and buy it here so you don’t feel guilty

Great place for cheap fashions on Queen street. I remember when we first discovered this place in high school, we were impressed with everything $ 20 and under. Basic, yet stylish stuff. I love that it’s one size fit all, just makes it simpler. Not much as changed, except that you can sometimes get stuff even cheaper these days with a good sale at Forever XII or H&M across the street. Anyhoo, buying from here is easy to go overboard. Just remember to check for damages. The shirt I just bought had some dye issues I wish I noticed before.

I absolutely love this store! I can’t walk on Queen St without popping in to check out the sales. I bought a couple dresses there but one that I really liked was missing a thread, easily fixed, but they offered a 10% discount which I thought was nice since it was already on sale, and I believe everything is final sale. The clothes are pretty cheap — but sometimes so is the quality. With that being said, I have gotten a couple good quality items for less than $ 15, you just have to pick carefully. Most items are one size fits all, but they generally fit an xsmall-medium.

The first time my friend and I found this place, we turned to each other with wide-eyed«I-can’t-believe-we-found-this-place» looks. Cute, lacey, gaudy floral-print cotton dresses!(We visited during the summertime.) Low, low prices!($ 14) Greedily, we snatched six or seven dresses each and made a dash to the fitting rooms. The cheery sales assistant gave us a hand, tying sashes around our waists and exclaiming«Cute!» along with us. In due time, the novelty of Spoof has worn off. That first visit was the one and only time I ever made a purchase there. There are more exciting places in that part of town.

It’s been a while, and not much has changed at Spoof. It’s still small and simple, the sales associates still let you know about the deals and the clothes are still cheap and compliment provoking. Cotton style blazer that travels without creasing — $ 20; black tights(the gray ones I bought 3 years ago still look fabulous), $ 10; plus an assortment of $ 13.99 shirts and dresses to stack my wardrobe. Yup — you still rock my frugal world. Current hours are 10 – 10 but I’ve been told they’ll be changing these soon. And there’s rumors of a website in the works too!

I agree with most of the other Unilocal reviews that it is: 1. cheap 2. one size fits all 3. interesting not too standard clothing choices BUT 1. the quality is CHEAP 2. no returns/refunds 3. sales people are shit annoying Better quality clothes can be found elsewhere at the same prices.

I concur with my fellow Unilocalers! This is one shopping spot not to miss. Again I was lured by the adorable dress/shirt in the window with a pink sash. It was$ 31.99 Canadian w/$ 5 pink sash which rounded out to about $ 36USD. Definitely hand made and unique which was something I was looking for while shopping Queen Street West. The salesgals were totally helpful and unobtrusive. They had a lot of tops and dresses and even some really cute funky skirts. I wished I’d had more time to search the racks… sigh…next visit!

If you don’t know about this place, you have been sleeping! Spoof is the one-size, multi color jersey heaven! They have those long shirts that can double as a dress for clubbing, no logos, no sizes, no fuss. You will like this place if you are great at accessorizing an outfit. Tip: Get the black in everything. Trust me.

Shouldn’t this store be lodged in the bowels of some Chinatown multiplex? How do stores like this, on prime Queen West property no less, make money? Most of the fashion pieces here are quite cheap — the sign posted outside reads«$ 7.99 + up», but deals also include an entire rack that goes for $ 10. Most other items fall in the $ 30 range; even that’s not asking for too much. It specializes in a lot of parachute-like feminine shirts, creative cardigans, and some of those strangely cut garments with weird suspender straps and oddly placed bejewelled items straight from Asia. Totally suits the need when you’re looking for that super cheap after-work item or librarian cardigan but not wanting to look like 85% of the population that shops at H&M or Old Navy.
