This place has a very Asian atmosphere as it is newly renovated. Although it’s a small place but very cozy. It’s a good place only if you love spicy food because almost everything on their menu is spicy. They promote more of their all you can eat hot pot, served in a traditional Chinese style pot. I took a look at their hot pot menu as it seems kinda pricy for the different selections you get for $ 22.99 on a weekday. I ordered a la carte instead which you can find on the same menu. The menu is very convenient, you just mark off which items you would like to order. It does have English translation on the menu. Since the servers does not speak English very well. We ordered a spicy fish in hot oil, pork & leeks dumplings and lamb skewers. They gave us a spicy marinated seaweed dish to munch on while we waited for our food. Lamb skewers comes 3 per order. It wasn’t what I expected or it could of been better. It wasn’t spicy, the spices and seasonings were too little which gave it little flavor and the pieces of lamb were small and mostly fat more than meat. Definitely not something I would order again. Dumplings comes in a dozen per order. It was good, up to standard, nothing special or great about it. The spicy fish in hot oil was extremely disappointing! It just looked like fish cooked in canola oil with chili peppers in it. There was no spiciness in the dish, the fish meat was overly seasoned with white pepper, that’s where all the spicy came from, not from the chili. It does not taste anything like it’s suppose to be, will never order this again!
