I accidentally sat on my glasses one night, and I took them here. They fixed them for free!
Very nice of them, considering I didn’t purchase them from Specs & Specs.

I have been buying from Specs and Specs for 10 + years. John the owner has always resolved issues where inexperienced staff has damaged frames wether purchased from him or not. He must not care about customer service anymore as this time All I received was excuses and lies. If you use them be sure to document the condition of your frames and get them to sign off so they cannot makeup excuses. I feel like I’ve wasted almost $ 400 on lenses only to have my equally expensive frames damaged. I’m considering legal action. What makes this process even worse is to be struggling with illness.

SO GET THIS. After breaking her glasses during tightening, the lady tells my friend that she has to pay 100 dollars and wait two weeks for it. What kind of company is this unprofessional? This isn’t America, businesses should not be screwing with it’s customers. Not being bias here, enter at your own will.

I went to Specs & Specs for a new glass. The girl with a red Prada glass was super helpful. She has a very good sense of fashion and chose several glasses for me after hearing what I wanted, all of which looked just right fit for me! I finally took one of what she chose. (I forgot her name…)
John was very nice and friendly. He tested my vision carefully as I do not have a note from doctor. They helped me rush my glass as I need it so urgently. I had my glass on time and it looks fantastic! Big love! Thinking to have a prescribed sunglass this summer and I will definitely go to them!

I’ve been going to Specs&Specs for 12 years. On my last visit i purchased a pair of metal frames and had my new prescription installed. Upon receiving and being fitted for my new glasses i complained that the prescription didn’t feel right, depth perception was way off. Long story short, my optometrist had mixed up my prescription with another. Though no fault of their own, Specs & Specs replaced my lenses at no extra cost… now that’s service!
Specs & Specs referred me to a trusted optometrist and then did my prescription sunglasses.
I have no reservations referring friends and family to Specs & Specs.

Fantastic service. Nicole is a goddess and she can size up a frame with her eyes closed. She knows your eyes like the back of her hand and can read your future in your head shape. At Specs and Specs they make you feel and look like a million bucks and I met my future wife by wearing a specs and specs glasses frame. It’s not Nicole, but she’s also worth a solid wifehood. I hope it happens soon to restore balance to this world and the next.

I have waited a long time to write this one… I had terrible rude service and had been there a few times over the last 13 years. I do love my frames, expensive though and since I had poor service I tried Clearly Contacts and will never go back.

John is a super friendly guy. Our entire family have been coming to this store for years now. Fantastic frames and John does a superb glasses fitting. I am willing to say the best in town! Armani, La Font, Chanel, Mui Mui, Oakley, just to name a few. My last three pairs of frames have been from here. I always get complements on my glasses even years later.

Good service, good selection, and excellent prices. I ordered a particular frame from Specs & Specs and they got it quite quickly. The fitting process was pleasant and prompt. Their price on this ProDesign frame was at least $ 50 or $ 60 less than a quote I received from a competitor. The nice optician who served me apparently miscalculated the cost of my high-​index glass lenses, but the store very kindly absorbed the difference and didn’t change their original quote. I love my new glasses, and I’d recommend Specs & Specs to anyone (and already have)!

Quality– Frames, lenses and craftsmanship as good as Rapp and Spectacle.
Price– Around lenscrafters and hakim or not much more.
Style– A lot of great brands for reasonable prices.
I found the frames I wanted at Spectacle for $ 550, did a little hunting and found the same ones at Specs & Specs for $ 195! Lenses were cheaper too! The owner John is super friendly and helpful. He has an autographed Britney Spears photo on the wall and told me he has no idea who she is but once sold her 16 pairs of glasses in 20 minutes. No prescription.

My first stop on the hunt for new frames. They have an optometrist on sight to do a quick, «Better one, better two, better three, better two?» exam. The selection includes frames to make you the spectacle– orange with green under tones anyone? And frame-​less glasses as well. They staff generally will help you find a style that works on your face type.
Selection of sunglasses in the back is also pretty broad, if you don’t lose your sunglasses every few months like I do. So, I wouldn’t consider buying sunglasses that cost more than $ 30, but if you would, check out the selection here.

This little nook at Queen & John has cool frames and great service. They greeted me, asked me if they could help me find anything, showed me how to open the cases, and let me browse their gorgeous selection of frames by international designers. I loved it, and wished I could have a harem of glasses.
Eventually John Chiu, the manager and buyer, came over and took my shopping experience in hand. He suggested a few frames I wouldn’t have tried on my own and gave me some great feedback. I couldn’t choose, so I splurged on two sets.
They were ready in a few days, and Mr. Chiu painstakingly adjusted each. I’m very happy with them, and would definitely go back.
It’s definitely pricey, but here you can get one gorgeous pair for the same price as the «two for one» places. Would you rather have one beautiful pair, or two boring pairs?

Alright I may be biased when it comes to Specs & Specs Optical because I worked there almost 5 years ago during the summer of 2004, but this is THE PLACE for glasses and sunglasses.
When I first stepped into this store, I was blown over by the HUGE selection of frames and shades — both high-​end designers and cool individual frame artists.
Luckily it made easier for me to find frames and shades for customers in search of a new set of frames and to find items I loved to buy with my discount!
Specs & Specs carries all of the top designer brands, such as Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio, Prada, etc. As well, the store has some funky brands such as OGI (I am currently wearing my OGI glasses as I write this).
On top of that, the store has all of the latest in designer sunglasses. Luckily these shades range in price so it is friendly to all crowds.
In addition, all staff are trained there to adjust glasses and help out customers who walked through the door.
And the optician/​owner, John, is a really friendly guy!
Overall this place is great when you want as much options as possible when picking out such an important item as a pair of glasses.
