In conjunction with our ARIDO accredited professional staff, we can respond to the current issues emerging from the new workplace. Our expertise at analysing space requirements and implementing workable concepts, preparing accurate cost estimates, and responding to fast track construction schedules is constantly being challenged.

History

Established in 1987.

Our twenty-​five person firm founded in 1987 and based out of Toronto, Ontario is headed by three partners: Carol Smith, Tom May, and Monika Sarkisian. As a matter of policy, at least one partner is actively involved in each project. We believe this is important so that our clients can talk to us about any aspect of their project.

Business Owner

Monika Sarkisian, Partner In-​Charge of Design and Quality Management, has been working in the corporate design field since 1993. She became a Principal at SGH in 2004 and Partner in 2009.

Over the past 20 years Monika has provided design solutions that require strategic thinking and implementation to a wide variety of corporate clients. Solutions have to make sense to the every day operation of the business with focus on the people that occupy these spaces, manage and function in them. Design is not about a style, but about how well the design solution reflects the culture and vision of a company. Monika’s strength is in the analysis and implementation of design strategies. During the many years of concentrated corporate office design practice, Monika has stayed focused on her goals as a Designer and Partner of the Firm. Monika has made significant contributions to the firm’s Design Studio philosophy and overall direction.
