This interesting Asian grocery store has moved into the former home of a Galati grocery store. It’s about high time something else moved into this location. The Galati version of this location looked like someone had walked away from it years ago and it was just running on fumes. I once accidentally bought moldy bread. Ugh.
The face of Jane/​Steeles has changed. Lots more Vietnamese denizens and not as many Italians and Mediterranean Europeans. You’ll find a range of interesting products. Milk prices are not too bad. There is a large seafood area although I find the smell a bit repellant. But that’s just me.
Anyway, lots of fun to browse the aisles.
