The menu is currently grilled sandwiches and coffee drinks but they are in the process of updating. The new menu will feature Mexican inspired Tapas! I’m smitten because they have Mexican Hot Chocolate, my favorite, if you haven’t had it before do yourself a favor and stop in for a cup. Also, Molly and Cesar are fantastic!

This is my favourite kind of coffee shop. The owners are welcoming and sincere, the teas are good, there is a patio on a calm residential street and their crepes are tasty.

I came upon this place by accident recently. And hope to be returning soon. Quaint little café. They have one long wooden communal table and a few tables strewn here and there. Also, the perfect menu — crepes, gelato, and some treats to accompany your drink. I enjoyed my Americano, although it tasted a little burnt for some reason. And my Ginger cookie was really yummy, they added a bit of a twist to it, which I enjoyed. Small place, I don’t think they could fit more than 10 – 15 people at a time. Also, they have benches and tables outside but you can’t use them. I was really disappointed to find this out as it was a really nice day and they have a gorgeous patio. The owner said they were waiting for the permit to come through. Hope it comes through soon because this could be my new summer coffee shop patio.

I am thrilled with the location– a quiet side street, with indoor seating with lots of natural light, and a partially covered outdoor front patio. My Americano this morning was delicious– sweet and roasty. The crepes look lovely but I had already had breakfast… they smelled great too– making me consider a second breakfast! The hours are 8:30−5pm Mon-Fri and 9 – 5 on the weekends. I’d prefer if it was open a bit earlier as I could go there for a morning brew after taking the dog to the nearby park… I bought beans from there today– I’ve not yet brewed but it smells lovely. The only downside is that the grind is a bit too course– even though I let him know it should be for a cone filter. A bit of novice confusion there I think…

This store is just off the beaten path, so you will definitely be missing it unless you are looking for it. It’s a small store in a quiet neighborhood. There is one communal table in the interior with seating for 6 – 8, and tables on the outdoor patio with seating for 6 or so. They had a surprisingly complete menu. Fresh baked cookies, pastries, and Gryffe’s bagels. Italian sodas, Boylan’s soda, soda floats, juices, milkshakes, teas, all the latte’s you can think of. Not for the meat of the menu. Crêpe’s, coffee and ice cream. I was surprised to see 14 different options of crepes from the savory(scrambled egg. Brie & baby spinach $ 7.08) to the sweet(chocolate hazelnut $ 4.43, add banana $ 1). Went for the Sunday crêpe, 3 scoops of ice cream(vanilla, death by chocolate, pralines and cream), choice of sauce(chocolate), whipped cream, choice of topping(peanuts), all over a warm folded crêpe. Great value for the crepes. Cheaper than Demetris, and you can customize it.(not sure why there aren’t more nut options? hazelnut chocolate and almond — YUM!) S/O had the Scoop and Bean Affogato(vanilla ice cream covered with espresso) not sweet enough for me(i like things really sweet when it comet to coffee products), but she liked it. As it was the middle of summer, coffee was an after thought to us. I got an Iced latte to go. I’m so used to the pre-sweetened goodness of the chains that i was surprised that it was unsweetened(or maybe i just need it that sweet). Stirred in a few packs of sweetener and it was all good. Wheelchair accessible except for a little 2-inch lip right at the door. could be difficult if you are not with an able bodied person for help. Will be back for the crepes, soda float sounds cool as well.
