Agree with the other 2 reviewers. Customer service is not a priority here, or the way it is offered could definitnly rub people the wrong way. A bit intimidating to walk in if you aren’t a runner and the staff just kinda half heartedly ask if they can help. I signed up for a clinic and Denis«helped» ring me through — very cold, like I’m bothereing him — even though the store was empty and it wasn’t near closing time or anything. Been to the RR on Yonge street as well mutliple times — and I must say that the staff there are much more friendly and happier. Run clinics here are superb though — but those are run by people that aren’t really«staff» of the running room. They are more like volunteers that LOVE to run and like to help others so I don’t consider them part of my rating.

The service of at least the guy there tonight on June 18th was consistently negative. I guess like Renata says they hate me. I am not a MILF, I am just a mom with a kid and goodness knows we have been there many times but that’s because my kid has narrow feet and they have shoes that fit her. Nonetheless the staff are very Meh and don’t have very good sales skills. I guess the shoes sell themselves, if they let you buy them. Tonight we were told not to buy a pair of shoes because we are just heading out to China. I sense that he is very tired of retail and customers. It’s a shame really. They are the closest store to us. oh well, there’s more fish in the sea.

They have interesting and quality fitness gear, that’s for sure. But they need obviously more«hot or not» staff. The guys there yesterday were more interested in two hot girls, and not in the tiny geek who wanted more info on fitting small running shoes. Basically, I was told«yeah, wear thick socks or go to New Balance». I went to Running Room TOGETHELPBECAUSE I HAVESMALLFEET, and people who are supposedly experienced tell me to go somewhere else? I will, I am sure. TL;DR: I wear size 5-ish, they hate me.
