Rosedale Radiology and Ultrasound

My wife and I were angry after a trip here. I was not allowed to be present during the ultrasound of our baby because the person doing the ultrasound felt uncomfortable due to her religious beliefs. When my wife asked of I could be come in to see the child the woman told her that it was «disturbing» to her to have a man in the room. It ruined a moment that was suppose to be very special.

I was in and out in no time. The tech was very helpful and friendly.

It was my first visit to Rosedale Radiology and my first x-​ray and ultrasound ever!
Located by Sherbourne Station, the clinic is convenient for those heading here by subway.
They open at 8:00 am so I was able to get everything done before work.
You walk downstairs and there is a bright-​lit waiting area.
Upon arrival you are immediately greeted and asked for your referral document.
It was only a short wait and I was asked to move to a second waiting area.
It reminded me of a change room in a department store.
Small rooms but everything was medical white.
The woman directing me around was very friendly, polite, professional, and presented herself well. She told me which rooms to go to and everything was completely easy.
Both technicians were friendly and thorough.
This clinic is efficient and everything was done in no time!
I had a great experience here!

I’ve had x-​rays and ultrasounds done at various places in Toronto, and Rosedale Radiology and Ultrasound is by far the least taxing. The first time I went was on a Monday at around 10, and although I expected a long wait I was in and out within half an hour. About a week later I had to return and again had a very short wait. The technician was slightly abrupt, and I thought a little rough when she was positioning my foot considering I was there because it was broken, but not rude or unpleasant. It’s also right across from Sherbourne station, which, while not itself accessible, makes for a mercifully short walk when using crutches or a cane. I don’t live anywhere near this place but will definitely return in the unhappy event that I require more x-​rays.

Okay, really, can you write a review for the Radiology dept? Here it is, hah!
I’m giving this 5 stars, because I’ve been to a few, and this was my best experience. I was to get one of those tests that involves me drinking 1L of water an hour before and holding my bladder for dear life, as I drove, paid for parking and waddled into the place.
They were friendly and made me feel at ease while laughing at me cuz I had to pee. The tech. was a friendly, fabulous man that joked around and totally understood my predicament.
With an appointment made for this kind of thing, they were prompt. I’ve been to places that actually made me wait, while trying to keep my legs crossed. A-​holes.
I also got an X-​ray here. The lady was prompt and curt. It’s weird because she was nice, but very abrupt with me. Efficiency — whatever. I’m sure she sees tons of people during the day.
There was ample changerooms and washrooms, and clean by any standards.
Parking behind the building is a bit expensive — $ 3.50 for every half hour and a $ 14 deposit. I didn’t want to risk it, if the guy leaves or whatever. right behind is a paid meter parking (with no real obligation to pay or to pay exact), and although the same price, more flexibility.
