Based in the Summerhill neighbourhood of Toronto, Canada, ROOM 2046 shop offers an eclectic selection of well-​designed products ranging from clothing to housewares, sourced internationally and locally.

ROOM 2046 café churns out premium locally-​roasted coffee supplied by Social Coffee and Tea, and serves a tasty selection of treats from gourmet donuts to gluten-​free chips.

ROOM 2046 studio produces videos, short films as well as its own collection of hand-​printed soft goods.

History

Established in 2012.

Inspired by the shops she stumbled upon during her travels combined with her affinity for design and passion for creativity, founder Kumala Nio wanted to bring the retail experience to a different level.

Room 2046 provides a space where customers are able to browse through a wide selection of well-​designed and beautifully crafted products from around the world. While learning about creative processes involved in the production of the goods offered, customers are welcome to indulge in the variety of speciality coffee drinks the café offers.

Room 2046 café serves its own blend of espresso coffee of Brazilian and Ethiopian origin. Alternative milk options include lactose-​free, soy, and almond milk. Tasty gluten-​free baked goods are also available.
