The closest Rogers Plus store to corporate headquarters and one of two in the Church & Wellesley area(the other being near the intersection of Yonge and Wellesley Streets). This is one of two Rogers Plus stores in the GTA(the other one is in Brampton) where you can buy Blue Jays tickets. The store has a small selection of rentals, and a large showcase of consumer electronics such as PVR, internete modems, and cell phones. The ability to pay your Rogers bill is also a plus as you can pay using the automated payment machine located inside or with one of the sales associates stationed at the cashier.

Besides the fact that I actually have to come here to exchange my PVR and Modem all within a few months, this is one of the only locations closest to where I live(Annex). (I don’t understand why there is a void of Roger’s Plus stores that aren’t downtown. It’s either this one, somewhere north and not easily accessible downtown stores that are only open from 9−5pm and not on weekends, or somewhere in BFnowhere) Anyway, it’s close to Sherbourne station, and street parking can be found, most times, on Jarvis northbound. The folks in here are quick, and both times I have escaped, but do not endorse, the fee to park. They are professional, knowledgable, friendly and even participates in idle chitchat. I’ve had no stupid issues like them not finding my file or asking me questions I can’t answer. Just in an out with a new piece of hardware. Even had time to get a coffee across the street.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not fan of the corporation known as Rogers. Over the years they’ve dicked me and just about every Canadian I’ve ever known with imaginary charges on their cable, wireless and internet bills. Between Bell and Rogers they are responsible for the outrageous prices and contract terms that exist only in Canada so I support anyone who switches to the smaller guys like Mobilicity, Wind and Public at the expense of service quality(also Bell and Rogers fault). This Rogers Plus store has a small selection of movies for sale and rent and I think I saw some video games too. It’s mainly a place to find a new cell phone and sign one of their bogus contracts. I ‘qualified’ for their ‘hardware upgrade’ so I was able to get a new iPhone 416G for $ 159 with a contract renewal(that was happening whether I liked it or not). I was pleased with the customer service I received here. Katherine was very good natured and did a very thorough job.
