I made the mistake of buying maple syrup from these people at the airport. Waste of money. No expiry date on product, no production date. immediately after buying I tried to return for this reason. They don’t take returns«unless something is wrong with the product». What else is going to be wrong? I don’t even know when you made this!!! Person at the register Called the manager twice, she refused to speak with me and DIDNOTRETURNMYMONEY. Just avoid these irresponsible people. My appetite is gone and they basically stole my money.

This was one of my favorite chocolate buying experiences — not that I’ve had many, but I’d 100% recommend visitors come here for their chocolate needs rather than one of the more expensive places in the area(looking at you Soma Chocolate). The staff was EXTREMELY helpful — one woman there helped me for upwards of 30 minutes sort through their wide range of products for a friend’s gift. I explained to her this friend’s general likes and dislikes and she showed me several options that would work for her, and even wrapped them all nicely and gave me a free box. This store has something for everyone; chocolate covered apples(totally on point), various barks, and boxes of themed chocolate. As now is the holiday season, there was a 50% off sale on all holiday themed chocolates, which included boxes of chocolate shaped like presents and other holiday shapes. They also had a box of chocolates shaped like generic Canada things, like maple leaves and plates that say«eh?». Pretty adorable for gifts that will be given to out of country people. A must visit for chocolatiers in the area!

The staff at this location are very helpful, in fact — I have found that at most of these stores, the staff are very nice. The chocolate itself is so-so but I’m very snobbish when it comes to my ‘chocolat’. I will give them four stars, however, for creativity and good customer service. In particular, their toffee and chocolate covered pretzel sticks(with the saltiness) are a good combination. I see this place more as a place to go to pick up a gift for someone than a regular chocolate indulgence. The items are fairly unique and the quality of the ingredients consistently fresh.

After years of purchasing Rocky Mountain chocolates, I am sorry to say that I will no longer be a customer. The inability to return/exchange/receive a store credit on chocolates bought in error citing«health reasons» is a poor policy and not one adopted by your competitors(Godiva, Fannie Mae, See’s Candies). I understand concerns regarding bulk chocolate, however It is difficult to imagine the health concerns on a box of double wrapped chocolates(sealed once in the box, and then again in Christmas wrapping paper) which were brought back to the store the next day, with the receipt, in the exact condition as when they were bought. Policies say a lot about the values of a company. After years of enjoying Rocky Mountain, in the future I will chose to give my business to a company with a more customer friendly policy. After all, there is a lot of competition in the market for high quality chocolates.
