Riverside Ruff Cuts Pet Grooming

My doggie was nervous when we came in. Lots of barking and mayhem. I think it was the parrot that freaked her out.
Was quoted $ 28 for shampoo but was advised to get an underbrush shedding so I did. Bill came to about $ 55 so was a little more than quoted but he did say he would do the extra service (should have mentioned the price). Option to tip. I opted out since it was more than I expected to pay.
My doggie was anxious to leave. Kept running to the door.
Peter was v nice and the lady I picked doggie up from was nice as well. Said $ 10 for nail clipping first time but will be $ 5 going forward because I’m a customer now.
Doggie smelled terrific and her coat was gleaming. Great service. I’ll be back.

I’ve brought my dogs here a few times. They are super nice here and quite accommodating. The first time I came in, my dogs hair was ok, and I expressed my concerns to them, and the next time, the girls came back looking a lot better. So it’s totally possible that I didn’t communicate what I was looking for effectively the first time. They do a good job, and the price is reasonable. My dogs have had better hair cuts, but they’ve also had a lot worse. I think this place to fair value. And they are super nice here, and it’s super close to me! The convenience can’t be beat!

Terrible. I dropped my dog off at 1:30 and was told to come back at 5. I left specific instructions with the groomer that I mostly wanted his face and belly trimmed. When I returned at 5 he was still on the table being groomed. However, it was good that I actually saw him being groomed otherwise I would have thought they just washed him. After closer inspection his face was not cut at all neither was his belly. His body was hardly trimmed as well. I am taking him back to the groomer he went to before just a week after this «cut». All in all, save your money, go elsewhere, this place is a ripoff.

We brought our dog here a handful of times. We were never wowed, but we kept going back since the owner is super nice.
We stopped going after the last grooming appointment because our dog came back uneven and shaved (in most places), when we had simply asked for a short cut.

Peter is as wonderful with humans as he is with dogs. At this warm and welcoming spot they only groom a few pets at a time, which makes it less stressful. And my Westie always looks very handsome after his visit.

Nice to have a place like this in the neighbourhood. Service is professional and assured, the atmosphere is calming and the owners are caring, pleasant and knowledgable. Reasonable as well, would recommend it to all dog owners in the area.

I am embarrassed by my dog’s haircut. The groomer clearly didn’t know how to cut my dog’s breed (a bouvier). The cut was uneven and blotchy. There are other groomers in the neighbourhood. I will never go back.

Very kind, warm and knowledgeable staff. This is a family run business and I feel really good about supporting that. Peter (the owner) did exactly what we asked and our puppy came out with a smile and a beautiful haircut. They also offered us a lot of additional advice. Overall the price was fair for the great service we got. We have tried so many Toronto groomers and this experience met almost all of our wants.
One thing you should make sure of, plan a full day of errands while your puppy is getting groomed. Ruff Cuts takes their time with your little one.
