History
Established in 1999.
Ritz Caribbean Foods was started in October 1999 by CEO Richard Moore, who says it took a lot of hard work and perseverance, along with a few sacrifices that had to be made in order to become successful. The fist restaurant was opened at Yonge and Bloor, and although the name wasn’t well known at the time, those who discovered the restaurant loved the food and kept coming back for more.
Although the restaurant serves Caribbean food, it is well known to all different races and age groups. Today Ritz Caribbean Foods is still on Yonge Street at three hot spot locations, 211 Yonge street at Yonge and Shuter, 450 Yonge Street at Yonge and College, 32 Eglinton W at Elginton and Yonge, and also 762 Yonge Street and Bloor.
