This is probably the weirdest Rexall I’ve ever been to, and most Rexalls are strange. It’s got a great location, on the street level of College Park on the far West side but the store itself is so strangely laid out that you’ll find yourself going in circles just trying to find the right aisle. I most recently came here looking for a valentines day card and got caught up trying to find my way to the specific aisle. They have two cash areas, one at the inside entrance and one near the street entrance. The one near the street entrance is poorly designed so I generally prefer to check out at the other entrance, even though the line up is placed far from the actual lineup. The layout is probably the biggest downfall of this location besides the cashiers who don’t really understand how to situate themselves closer to the line to make it easier on customers and themselves. Instead of yelling down an aisle for the next customer, they need to sit at a cash register that’s closer to the line. Odd… so very odd…

Well stock, sizeable Rexall’s located at the intersection of Bay and College Street(aka Carlton). The store’s layout is somewhat narrow with cashiers at front and pharmacy at back. Customer service is non-reliable as I tried a few times to seek help from employees only to be pointed in the direction where the product was located. Compared to other Rexall’s in the core area, this location really needs better management in order to assure that employees are on hand and ready, willing, and able to help instead of avoiding their job responsibilities.

I feel like I should review this rexall’s just to make up for all the mean things I said about the one near my house. This rexall’s is bigger and has had almost everything I’ve ever gone in for. I filled one prescription here and found the pharmacist helpful in an above and beyond way. Sadly, I’m fairly sure that all the cashiers hate their jobs. They are at best brusque and at worst rude and/or absent.
