While the prices are decent and they’re always open(24 hours, on holidays too usually), this Rabba’s is filthy. I’ve been going here for certain foods over the past two years, and the situation is always the same. Unhygienic staff(particularly two men who are always there) who smell absolutely awful… One of them is so bad you have to stay away when he comes anywhere near you. Even if you walk in his path, the smell of BO will linger behind him for a few minutes… Not sure why this is acceptable in a grocery store, especially since it’s ongoing. Needless to say, I will not purchase produce here. I’ve seen produce fall on the filthy floors only for the staff to pick it up and place it back on the shelf. If you plan on shopping here, do not buy anything that isn’t packaged(or has a thick peel like cantaloupe), and wear a scarf over your nose and mouth! There is also a woman who works nights here who is really nice, but she doesn’t seem to be there too often.

Although this Rabba is open 24 hours a day, their selection could be better and the staff are rarely friendly. Add to this the sometimes ‘iffy’ clientele and this makes for a solid two star experience. The Longos nearby is a far better bet, and is often the same price(or cheaper).

Convenient and open late. Pretty dirty though, as evinced by the pictures. Not necessarily cheaper than Longos that’s literally 100 meters away, so if it’s open I would always opt for Longos.

I got food poisoning from one of their pre cooked barbecue chickens. I discovered, too late that it was under done. Pink on the inside. Pure and simple I will not go back.

If you ever just want a cheap sandwich, Rabba is the place. It’s not organic, and you’re not going to get a «panini» like at La Prep, but the ingredients are fresh, they make it to order, and it’s under $ 5. Just grab a roll, bring it to the deli counter, and decide what you want on the bread. They PILEON the meat. They do not skimp on the meat. You will likely only be able to eat a half sandwich. That’s ok. Save the rest for later. Service is slow, but the staff are all very nice. Otherwise, they’ve got most of what you’d need from a grocery store, but it’s more expensive. I’m surprised they haven’t jacked up the sandwich prices yet. Until they do, I’ll keep ordering them.

the best thing about rabba for customers is that theyre open 24 hours. great for those 3 in the morning potlucks. rabba seems to have everything you would need INGENERAL serving as a local small supermarket. the bulk of the store are aisles for food and household supplies, with the occasional organic thing here or environmentally friendly thing there. for the most part though, its kind of like a spruced up variety store or new york deli without the buffet. there are no gourmet foods there — to be more specific, there are no foods there whose label you wouldnt have an easy time recognizing. but for a quick sandwich, or a quick bit of prepared food if you are on the go, then go ahead. if you can go to a larger supermarket thats close by then go there, or do the same by shopping at a bunch of more specialized stores; and yet if you your needs are quick, simple and generic this place is just fine.
