A hefty portion of tasty food for CHEAP.
I was hesitant to try this place, as it’s a sleepy little hole in the wall that took me months to realize even existed, despite passing it many times.
But I’m glad that I did, and would like to spread the word. I inquired about the pork pie signs outside, not even knowing what I was ordering, and what the proprietor prepared me did not look like the pics out front, nor was it a «pie» as I understand it. But damn, it was good and filling for 3 bucks!
It was a savory Chinese wrap. I believe it’s called Jian Bing, though I could be wrong as he made the crêpe differently than how I’ve seen it done for Jian Bing.
Anyways, I recommend stopping by if you’re adventurous and frugal!

I would give 5 stars because the pork pie is amazing, but the fact is, the dude really needs a few assistants or something. Takes forever to make the pork pie and if there are people ahead of you, forget it, your whole lunch hour is gone.

It’s still delicious… but, the price has gone up to $ 3.99.
