tons and tons of selection of different incense and incense holders. amazing and comfortable meditation pillows. and to top it off the best staff ever. very accommodating and helpful, gave us a lot of information and helped me pick out a gift for my (very) indian boyfriend, which he loved! ¹⁰⁄₁₀.

This place is an incense haven. It really has everything that one could ask for when on the valiant search for a good, high quality incense.
The man that is often there when I go in, is extremely polite and well mannered. And if you are a first time incense buyer, even if you are not, he can and will most definitely describe and share with you the variety of incense offered at Piya’s. He has extensive knowledge of nearly all of them.
This is a a place that carries small gift items as well. It’s not exactly the same concept as it’s neighbour Juxtapose (formerly, the Outer Layer) but Piya’s Boutique offers unique and fair-​trade items that come from the World’s markets. Hand made items that really speak of the creative nature of the artisan involved in making it. Good products that are also ethically sourced and imperfectly, perfectly crafted. :)
This is a family business that has been around for close to over 20, if not, 30 years. It’s a great go-​to place that carries with it plenty of authenticity. One would do well to support them.
Warning: It has a powerful smell, when one enters, if you are not used to it, it could be bothersome. I love this smell, it’s a combination of love, kindness and all those, light and deep fragrant incense scents that this shoppe has to offer.
