Semi private and private classes are specially designed to fit the needs of each client, to help condition, recover or improve the body’s performance.

Offering specialized training for clients with special needs, including hip/​knee replacements, bulging/​herniated discs, musculoskeletal pain or weakness, osteoporosis and recovery from motor vehicle accidents. Challenging workouts designed especially for dancers and athletes of all levels.

Studio also offers nutritional consulting and coming soon massage therapy, acupuncture and reflexology.

History

Established in 2010.

After intense training with mentor Dianne Miller and almost 5 years of experience at the Vancouver Pilates Centre, Cindy moved back to Toronto to begin working with her own clients. Five years later she has just opened her new studio space on the Danforth called Pilates with Cindy.

Business Owner

Cindy Willems had a professional dance career into her late 30’s, working within Canada and the US and at the amazing Stratford Festival for two seasons. Upon retiring she dedicated her time to training then teaching in the Pilates method with Dianne Miller where she experienced the amazing ability of the human body.

Cindy is also a registered Holistic Nutritionist and a passionate foodie. She educates her clients on the importance of eating a whole foods diet in combination with living a positive lifestyle and daily exercise to help support the body, mind and spirit.

Cindy blends Western and Eastern influences within her personal and professional philosophy to inspire others to eat, live and move to the best of their ability, achieving optimum health.
