History

Established in 2009.

Periwinkle is founded by young Canadian girl, an ambitious female entrepreneur who has a passion for design and a knack for beautiful handmade crafts. Her background in textiles, embroidery, sewing, graphic and website design an experience as a high-​end retail store manager makes the opening of Periwinkle her perfect venture.

Due to product demand, Cindy was no longer able to maintain her day job, make products and participate in craft shows all over the country. In August 2009, she decided it was time to take the plunge and create a marketplace in a high-​end boutique environment to help out other crafters like herself. Periwinkle is the perfect place for other ambitious designers who use high quality products and superior craftsmanship to take their business to the next level. The designers at Periwinkle get to be their own boss, make money and showcase their product with very little financial risk! Everyone needs a helping hand, and periwinkle is here to support, help and believe.
