Parliament Optical

I have deal with this company on two occasions and have recommended them to my friends who were very satisified. I found the optician quite pleasant and more than willing to fit my needs. Service is excellent, price is great and my glasses were there when promised. Keep up the good work

There are a couple of inconsistencies in what was presented here by the 2^nd reviewer, who actually rated their service with 5 stars. I was most definitely told the order did not ship out until the Wednesday. I did not get the impression that they were even marginally interested in learning how to improve their service, he was more interested in insisting he had never told me Monday in the first place. Funny thing is, if he had told me it would take two calendar weeks, i would have still done the transaction because he would have managed my expectations.
When I called back in today, I was told my glasses were not in (as told on Monday when I went in to pick them up) and they SHOULD be in by Friday. Not guaranteed, again, based on courier pick up and delivery. After asking for the owners telephone number as the gentleman on the phone who I had been dealing with since my first visit told me he was just a «worker». He refused to give me the owners contact information and then hung up the telephone.
I went into the store on my way home and asked again for the owner’s telephone number which he wouldn’t give me. He said he would call the owner and see if he would allow him to give me his number. He then proceeded to call the owner and ended up refunding my money.
I was pleased with the outcome. I do like supporting local business, but I will not do it at the expense of good service.
