This is a great addition to the Bloor West Village! The menu is small — you can choose between Brussels waffles(your usual square waffles) and the more unique Liege waffles(round, smaller/denser, and has melted sugar in the batter) Batter for both are made in house. I got the Liege waffle topped with delicious strawberries, vanilla soft serve ice-cream, chocolate sauce and icing sugar. All toppings are included in the price of the waffle, a mere $ 4! The waffle was delicious, I was surprised by how dense it is. I would like to try the Brussels waffle next time to see if it is lighter/fluffier. Overall a delicious dessert and friendly on the wallet. As an FYI — there are waffle sandwiches that aren’t ready yet(store is still very new), but coming soon! There’s also not much seating inside, only 2 tables with 2 chairs each facing the window. I would have liked to enjoy my waffle outdoors, but there’s only a bench(difficult to cut into the waffle without a table, and I’m a very messy eater!)

I was ready to be underwhelmed as this place just opened. But oh my stars the 4 minute wait for my liege waffle was worth every bite. It was crunchy outside and yieldingly chewy inside with beautiful moistness. Wow! It was complimented with simple strawberries and drizzled with some syrup and sprinkled with icing sugar. It was heaven. And all of this heaven for under $ 5. What a delight! I will be craving waffles soon so expect me to tromp down here again and again.
