Ooh La Lash

PLEASE. Read this before you buy a session with her. About a year ago I bought a groupon here and having a horrible experience I’ve never used groupon for services again.
You get what you pay for — and in this case, less. Lesson learned.
She uses clumps of lashes that fall off within 12 hours. Your eyes will also be completely bloodshot from whatever glue she uses. I let her know and even sent pictures of my eyes because they were so red and painful I thought they were infected. She blamed it on me and offered to «fix» them for more money. I declined — there was no way I was letting her do any more damage. I have had my lashes done before and since with professionals and have never had that happen. I love the lash service at wishful winking and the spot in Liberty village.
Icing on the badlashes cake: she was over an hour and a half late for my apt and claimed it was never booked. even when I showed her the text she had sent me with the confirmation. The whole time I was waiting my gut was yelling NO and I should have listened.
Just no.

I got a groupon for ooh la lash and made a reservation online a week ahead for an appointment with Jessica.
She was amazing and very patient and. I had amazing lashes after!

I bought a 3 pack eyelash pack from Groupon for $ 139. I have to say that I was disappointed in her lashes. I have had my lashes done many times at other salons and never experienced how quickly they fall out. They look nice enough but the glue she uses must be very inexpensive, as up to 5 in each eye fall out before you even get home.
My first session I was disappointed at first she was 30 mins late, then you only get max 25 lashes in each eye «Natural look» however when Groupon advertises, it is regular $ 125 which that would make a full set. As well this set lasted no more than 5 days
My second session she offered for an additional $ 30 this turned out very nice and lasted maybe about a week and a half. the more lashes the higher chance they remain
The third session she cancelled, because she had a «special weekend», then she rescheduled a few weeks later, where she messaged that she was 45 mins late, then when I arrived she was an additional 25 mins late. I had even asked to upgrade to the $ 30 lashes and she basically pretended they were done because she was in a rush to go to her other job, so she told me she owes me 15mins. When I checked my eyes. I counted 20 lashes in one eye 24 lashes in another. On top of it all, they all fell out in 48 hours.
I was willing to look past the first time but I would not recommend her to anyone as your lashes do not last long, she complains about other customers, texts like crazy when doing your eyelashes and doesn’t fulfill your request. While I received a deal to buy more, I would never return again.

I brought a deal ticket with Ooh La Lash because she showed an opening this Saturday. But she text messages me Friday to tell me she has to cancel because she has a part time job that needs her at work. I don’t how I feel about that except, ripped off.
I’ll change my review if she does a good job

I’ve been going to this place for a year! Natalie is amazing and very talented. I’ve gone to plenty of other eyelash places and they charge you an arm and a leg. Most techs purchase their products from the same place, so if your eyelashes are falling it’s not her, nor the glue, it’s you!

I got an online deal to try some mink lashes. I was super excited, as I had a wedding coming up.
I get the lashes. They looked AMAZING. I followed her post-​care instructions (no showering or washing the face for 48 hours, and no make-​up application), and was disappointed that after 4 days they started falling out. After 7 days, the lashes were COMPLETELY gone. Totally not worth the expense.
I wrote her an email to tell her, and her response was defensive, she blamed me (!?), and was ultimately mean spirited and didn’t offer any solutions.
I so badly had wanted the lashes to work out.
I will try again with another provider.

I recently got my lashes done here after purchasing a coupon from deal radar. I have had my lashes done plenty of times before, and I actually am trained to do lashes myself. Natalie is really nice and sweet. I got a full set of lashes done and they look great. A few have fallen off already but that’s expected The only negative I noticed is the lashes don’t all seem to be glued on an individual real lash. There are quite a few fake lashes glued onto clumps of my real lashes.
Ok so a day after my review I’ve noticed that more lashes are coming out. Surprisingly not single lashes. It seems I had single AND cluster lashes applied rather than all single lashes which I thought was what I was getting. Cluster lashes are not the same as single, cost half the price and are much more noticable bc of the way that the 4 – 6 strands of hairs are «clustered» together
I don’t think I will be going back
I now have bald spots where the clusters used to sit that I need I fill
