I walked into One Heart Design this time last year intrigued by the handmade jewellery sign and small jewellery bench full of tools in the window. Walter Munoz the owner is super passionate about his craftsmanship. I bought a pair of boots he designed and are made by a cobbler in Guatemala. I LOVE them, and get so many compliments when I wear them. Walter has a great eye for fashion and his boots, combining Military style with flare of colour from Guatemalan fabrics are exquisite and super cool. I returned half a year later to buy a leather over the shoulder bag I use everyday and have travelled with. Stop in. You’ll love his shop.

Handmade Jewellery in a nutshell. The artist’s name is Walter Munoz — he’s from Guatemala and has some great pieces with gemstones. All handmade, and made with love and passion. Just visit the store and talk to Walter and you’ll understand what i mean. It’s nice seeing artists succeed, and opening a store like this is a testament to his work. Staff are all so helpful and personable. Pieces are quite light, natural, and refreshing in my opinion. I went in at a recommendation of a friend looking for a gift, and walked out hoping to come back to see Walter make some cufflinks. He wasn’t aware of what they even were, but after a brief discussion, i could see his creative gears turning. Love knowing this place exists, and it’s going to be a spot i can go to for reasonably priced, handmade artisan jewellery as gifts.
