You may enjoy chatting with the old man, but beware that he may get aggravated when the discussion turns to the prices of his merchandise no matter how polite you are.

Odds and Ends left me VERY confused, — absolutely mesmerized and slightly bit disappointed. On the inside, the store looks like somewhere«Labyrinth» could have been filmed. It’s very narrow, so narrow, in fact, that it can barely fit two customers at a time; dark; and basically consists of two HUGE piles of majestically looking clutter stretched along the walls. Now, I do mean it when I say the clutter is majestic: here you can find everything from Victorian suitcases and picture frames(that often include the original photos or art) to handcrafted wooden boxes, chandeliers and fancy looking porcelain and flatware. I also do mean it when I say the piles are enormous: some of the things that might catch your attention you might, literally, have to dig out. That being said, I do have to agree with Amanda D., — the quality of quite a few items can be significantly affected by rather poor storing conditions. There are also a fairly pleasant and quite talkative owner, — and no price tags, which, I suppose, makes the space more joyful for serial bargainers, — which I sadly just don’t happen to be. That being said, the before-you-haggle prices vary from 30 to 200 dollars on average depending on what you are looking at. Overall, I’d say Odds and Ends is definitely worth paying a visit: it might not be able to offer you the vintage shopping experience of a lifetime, — but the uniqueness of some of the things you might come home with is most definitely worth it.

This is the oddest(no pun intended, groan) antique shop I’ve ever been to. It’s a narrow shop with antiques haphazardly stacked on top of each other all the way up to the ceiling. There’s only a foot wide walking path so multiple customers in the store at once is very difficult. There was also no prices on anything and it was hard to see everything that was offered at the store. I would also worry that the quality of what I’d buy would be subpar because of the bad conditions it sits in amidst this store’s clutter. However, there were many unique finds at this store, so it’s still worth checking out. With the lack of price tags, I imagine you’re free to haggle.
