Finding a real estate agent in Toronto is easy. Finding a real estate agent who takes time to understand your needs and has your best interests in mind is hard. «Not your mother’s agent» is an expression I use to poke fun at some agents in the industry and also a reminder to hold myself to a higher standard.

Many agents have an air of entitlement that is commonly mistaken as an attribute of being successful and good at their job. They use pressure tactics and put you in a situation where they would have you believe it is all or nothing. They talk in clipped sentences, have systems, and use proven sales techniques.

I don’t believe in this approach and neither do my clients.

I advise you of all your options and help you make a wise investment. Being engaged in the process, being educated on the market conditions, and leveraging my professional advice to help you make a critical decision helps immensely.
