I’m very picky when it comes to haircuts — I’m obsessed with symmetry and attention to details. I’ve tried a bunch of places in Toronto before I was referred to this place by Adriano, my favourite menswear salesman at the time. This place is very pricey — when people ask me how much my haircut is, I turn away and pretend I don’t speak their language. I’ve been a loyal customer for the last three years. Every haircut is a little different but the result is always the same — it makes you look fine! John, the owner of the place, is very skilled and meticulous in the cuts. He has a very impressive educational background, and can hold an informed conversation about arts, science, entertainment — anything. The service is always top notch — tea/coffee/water provided. With every booking you make an email with a calendar event is sent out — very convenient if you’re as crazy about organizing your schedule as I am. They have recently moved to the new space at Church street. The décor is quite industrial, with concrete floors and ceilings, and exposed HVAC ducts. If you’re picky about your cuts and are ready to spend some money, this is the place to be.
