Got 2 pairs of glasses done here. In house optician helped get my eyes checked and the price of the exam was detected from the cost of the first pair of glasses.
Outside of that they let me try on glasses for hours on multiple visits until I was sure of what to get. Great staff too.

Can’t say enough good things about Modern Optical. Their selection is great and their customer service is the best! I have bought several pairs of glasses over the years and recommend them highly. Cathy and Jamee know their stuff and will treat you well.

I got my glasses here for a long time now, and have always had excellent service. They take their time to help you choose your glasses. There has been times that I think that my wife and I have been there longer than an hour making our decisions. They were very patient with us. We also value their taste in glasses. When we need glasses fitted, or updated with new lenses they have always been there for us. Go here if you are looking for excellent service and selection. They don’t compete on price, though. I think that you can get glasses less expensive at other places.
I know what Mike M. is talking about in his review. He must be talking about a different place. I have found completely the opposite and I have been going here for years.

Jamee’s service was amazing! I went in, she picked out the perfect pair of specs right away and helped me deal with the insurance. I love my new frames. I have transitions lenses and I even bought new sunners. As Arnold says, «I’ll be back.»

Your pre-​sales vs. post-​sales experience will vary wildly. Make sure you get everything in writing and ask them what they will do in case you are not satisfied with the product. They are notorious for bad customer service AFTER the sale has been made. Make sure you get all the details in writing (Frame number, manufacturer of lenses, the quality of lenses, the warranty on them, the coatings they are promising you and the tint). Make sure they show you what lenses and what tints they will be giving to you. They are famous for making arbitrary choices on your behalf and then being difficult if you are not satisfied with the product.
This place is no cheaper than any other place, but their service, especially the post-​sales service is the pits. Caveat Emptor!!!

I’ve used this business 3 or 4 times over the past few years, products ranging from reading glasses to sun glasses to prescription goggles. I’ve always been treated exceptionally well — the owner has gone out of her way to make things easy for me (including finding a matching frame when I needed new lenses so that I didn’t have to give up my existing glasses). I recently had a terrible experience in Vancouver (see my review of Iris). It was so good to get back to this place and order my new distance lenses. I will always use this outlet for my glasses.
