These guys are passionate about computers and this is reflected in their great customer service. i’ve been to a couple other stores in the neighbourhood and nothing compares. They are patient and take the time to help you understand your options. They also offer an open forum Saturdays for people to bring in their devices and questions. I dealt with James.

I had a flawless experience, through 3 visits. The third visit they even remembered me by name (and my name is neither common nor easy to remember).
They did what they promised to, called when they said they would, and kept things simple.
In the end I bought a used computer to replace my non working one: I plugged it in and everything was there: all my files, my bookmarks, even my desktop background.
I’m sold. I won’t be going anywhere else.

Just had a terrible experience here! Do not go!!! First off I call in and talk to a rep and I was told a analysis for my retina MacBook could be done in a half hour and I’m looking at 1100 ish an it could all easily be done today so I ask if I came down right now to the store would it be possible to go through this entire process and be done today (I have to sell my laptop today) I was ofcourse told yes… So I get on the bus then the train to get there and when I do I am greeted by a young guy wearing a bike helmet shuffling the trash on the floor all over the place… Seems legit right… So I walk over and we wait for about 20 mins till the I guess most experienced rep can come help he does eventually but guess what this guy can’t help either looks basically clueless so he passes me off to another rep and this guy ofcourse the guy I talked to on the phone but now the whollllleeee story has changed I now have to wait for a manager to decide to come in I’m told could be whenever he or she comes in «later in the day» which means basically he can’t help period… Then I get upset and go to leave and he has the nerve to lie to me that they are the only shop in Toronto who can buy a computer… Lol unmmm I guess they think customers in Toronto are stupid or something… Now I know I’m writing this on the train home pissed off and without punctuation and what not but believe me when I say this is not a safe place to shop… Just be careful of the bait and switch and shady employees

Recently my Mac Pro screen started to have problems with image retention. The tech had the screen replaced under the warranty within 3 days.
My Experience with Jim and his staff has been much better than any apple store. I have been a customer since they were located on Yorkville.

Staff are professional, friendly, smart, and willing to help. The level of service I received here was outstanding, and my computer was fixed within 2 days of dropping it off on a weekend!
Would recommend to everyone and anyone.

Want Apple? Go here! Not only do you avoid all of the teens and tweens at the Eaton Centre Apple store, but you will get as good a price and way better service.
Want Apple but not rich? Shop here! They have a good selection of quality used gear that will work for everyone but the most demanding (pro) users.
I have bought a used tower here and it is still going strong. I’ve also bought some memory, software and other smaller things. The staff has always been really helpful and never tried to sell me something I did not actually need. In fact, one of the guys, forget his name, is also a photographer. It really helps when the staff can speak the same language and has the same concerns.
I’m looking forward to a visit in 2014 when it is time to upgrade my tower to a newer (used) model.

Had a great experience with them, even though they weren’t able to fix my computer. Dropped off my Macbook on a Saturday after spilling water underneath it. It wouldn’t turn on, and I was hoping there was some way to fix it. Within 1 business day I received a call from the technician telling me that the logic board was fried, and that it would cost me the price of a new computer to fix it. Was able to explain how it happened, and how much the remaining parts were worth.
Best of all, they didn’t charge for for the diagnosis. It was much appreciated, especially when I’ve already had to accept the loss of an $ 1100 computer.
Only lose 1 star because I feel that some of their other prices take advantage of people who don’t know much about computers. For example, to transfer data from one computer to another, they charge $ 80. Seems excessive when it’s quite easy to do it on your own. Oh well, people should always do their own research I suppose.
All in all though, I would definitely recommend this store if you need any assistance with your Mac.

Neat and tidy store. The customer service is knowledgeable and friendly. They have experience with electronics and they know how to show it. There is a nice selection of apple accessories that are tough to find at the bigger stores that may interest some. They also do repairs and their return policy is no hassle. The reviews on here tell no lies, if you are looking for new or used apple products and accessories this is a nice small place to check out.

Jim, Jim, and Steve go the extra mile to help you out. I have purchased a laptop and speakers from them this spring. I have had some challenges in getting everything sorted. They have been relentless in finding a solution for me. If you are at yonge are at st Clair and yonge, check these guys out.

These guys are amazing!
To make a long story short, they went above and beyond the call of good customer service for me. They dumped my hard drive onto a portable and mailed express-​shipped it to me overseas all for $ 70, even stored my computer for several weeks, graciously waiting for me until I could figure out what I needed to do with it.
When my mother came to drop it off for me, she called ahead to find out about the nearest parking (as she can’t drag a giant iMac in it’s box several blocks to/​from the car very easily especially in winter.) One of their reps actually waited for her out in front of the store so she could pull up, drop the computer into his hands and go! And it was the middle of January. He did the same thing on her return to pick it up. So Impressive!
They were incredibly efficient to deal with, had great phone & tech manner, went above and beyond on the actual service work, were reasonably priced, and best of all, REALLY understood what great customer service is about.
In a day and age where good customer service seems as mythical as Unicorns and Jabberwockys, I think it’s so important to give credit where it’s truly deserved.
I wouldn’t take my Mac anywhere else!

Had a wonderful experience when I needed to get my daughter’s crucial computer data downloaded from her Mac. They made a very effective suggestion that was less expensive than our ideas, executed it well, and did it with courtesy and a smile.
Jim Parsons goes out of his way to be wonderful to his customers and i was very impressed with him and Midtown Digital.
As someone who doesn’t understand a lot about computers, he made my life a lot easier. Highly recommend them.
