We are math experts. We teach math from grades 1 to 12. We believe that anybody can learn math by building confidence, making children enjoy it and then understanding with simply come naturally. We believe in math foundations such as good knowledge in multiplication, fractions and number sense in general.

History

Established in 2013.

Tutoring and instructing math was always a passion. I did it through my years at University while studying engineering and I continued after graduating as a favor to friends and family. I was always able to instruct math in such a way that I wanted it to be taught to me and which made sense to my students. After a few years working as an engineer I realized it was time to work on what I was passionate about: teaching math! After doing a lot of research I came across Mathnasium and the Mathnasium Method. The Mathnasium Method fit perfectly with my idea on how math should be taught. And so I decided to follow my dream and start a business instructing math to children in a way that I would have loved it to be instructed to me when I was a child.

After graduating with a Bachelor in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University in 2001 I proceeded to work as a consultant in the mining industry by designing instrumentation and control systems.

After a few years of very rewarding work as a consultant, I started pursuing an interest in Software Development which I still do to this day.

Math and teaching has always been a passion for me, I have always had an ability to teach math in such a way that makes sense to my students and so the decision to be part of the Mathnasium family came very naturally to me.
