** 3.5 stars ** I was in the neighbourhood yesterday and decided to take a stroll inside. It’s probably safe to say that, based on sheer size, it could compete with any suburban location. It’s ENORMOUS. It has a LOT of stuff, including a canteen-styled eatery, a tea stand, dry cleaners, even a cooking school. I did a quick pass-through on the first floor — which has a LOT of products and produce — then went up to the second to scope out the Joe Fresh. It’s a decent size, and the selection isn’t bad. The only downside is that opening day equals a buying frenzy, not to mention lineups for the cash register AND the fitting room — I look one look at that queue and dropped the cute sweaters I wanted to try on. The only reason I’m giving this a middle-of-the-road rating is because it was opening day and it was just TEEMING with people. I took one look at the long lineups at checkout and was glad I wasn’t actually there to BUY my groceries. I’d be overwhelmed. Maybe I’ll go back when things are a bit quieter — if that’s even going to be possible for this location.

I tried to find the bottles of Mexican Coke but couldn’t. Maybe I got the place wrong. There are cute little glass bottles of Coke but they have french/english and appear to be bottled in Canada.

Down the elevator, through the garage, into the convenience store, say«hello» to the nice lady, walk to the cooler, look between the giant bottles of vitamin water and SoBe, and sigh in relief that no one else seems to have touched those tiny glass bottles of … Mexican Coke. This newly discovered availability spells nothing but trouble for my strained will power.
