Listen, it’s not the best coffee, or food in the city. But it is, arguably the best location in the city. It is at one of the most iconic intersection in the posh Yorkville area. It has nice big windows. This is a great place for lounging with a nice cup of latte and seeing the world go by.

Some of my fondest memories in Toronto with friends and loved ones was at this place. Great place to hang and meet up.

I went there for a chai latte and received boiling water, a drop of milk and a tea bag — it was absolutely disgusting(like drinking slightly sweet water). Approaching the manager resulted in him saying, «we are famous in this area for our chai tea». Beware.

Lettieri was around before Starbucks invaded Toronto, which is, of course, way before the current indie coffee shop renaissance our fair city is undergoing. The Yorkville location is one of the last standing. A lot of them, including the Front street East one, have been converted to Hero Burger restaurants(same ownership). The Cumberland avenue store brews good, if not memorable, lattes and espressi. They also have great lunch options, baked goods and smoothies. A great option when in Yorkville, whether shopping or chilling.

Always, always busy and the pastries are a bit dry. But I don’t mind their sandwiches when in a rush.

Had a cappuccino. It’s okay but doesn’t have a good coffee flavour. The location is great though and has a nice patio.

Honestly, I’ve been here a few times now and I’m not sure why I keep going back. The location is great, and they’ve got a wrap-around patio which is good for people watching. The service is friendly, and pretty quick. But their sandwiches are terrible! And really, what good is a café if their food is bordering on inedible?

Love love love the location and the tea seems to be good quality but the pastries were dry and tasteless. It was so tough to find a table and when we did, my friend and I were squeezed beside a businessman and his wife on one side and a mom with a whining toddler on the other side. I guess it’s just a testament to how popular this place is. Ace place to stare at the stereotypical Yorkville crowd and to unintentionally eavesdrop on conversations!

My favorite coffee place in yorkville. Its funny how people look at us when we pull up with our cars. We usually hang out outside and see our friends and /or other nice cars that pass by the area. Their coffee products are pedestrian though. Nothing to rave about, but decent. Prices are what you expect from yorkville so I find it reasonable

— The location is great. — The coffees are ok. — The frozen yogurt is not that good.

Ordered a sandwich and a date square, regretted both. Only think good is the coffee/tea. Forget the rest.

You really only go here for the patio. It’s a top notch people watching spot and deserves 3 stars alone for that. Avoid the sandwiches, they can be rather stale and somewhat overpriced for generic packaged stuff. Still no wi-fi at this place either but I guess they don’t want people lingering for hours. The coffee is decent, lots of tea and smoothies too.

Neighbourhood staple for me. I’ve been here many times. It’s undoubtedly a terrific spot for people watching, and/or meeting a friend. The sandwiches are ok, but don’t expect too much. They’re not amazing and are slightly expensive for the size. Recommendations: — Tea — Mochaccino — Frozen yogurt(expensive, but very very delicious) Stick to the basics and you’ll be happy.

It’s a place to people watch, that’s for sure. Unfortunately, it’s just not that great a place for coffee, sandwiches, or pastry. I hunkered down in this shop with the intent to catch up with a friend and try to get some studying in. I ordered a hot cocoa and a caprese sandwich. The cocoa was nice, but the caprese sandwich tasted stale. The coffee I ordered afterward wasn’t that great, either. Worse yet, NOWIFI!(How does a coffee shop not have WiFi?!) On the other hand, the people working there were super-nice and friendly. Plus, the café was tidy and the bathrooms clean, which I’m sure is no small feat considering the amount of foot traffic this place gets. It’s too bad — I’d love a place in this neighborhood where I can have some coffee and get some work done. I’d almost overlook the bad coffee because of the location and the friendly staff, but the fact that they have no wifi is the final nail in the coffin for me.

Lettieri is a clean and relaxing place that offers coffee, espresso drinks, a variety of organic teas, fresh juice, smoothies(dairy & non-dairy), pastries and more. Most of the staff I’ve encountered here are efficient and friendly. I’ve been here many times and enjoy drinking their smoothies on the patio during a hot summer day. Besides the smoothie beverage, I find their coffee and teas to suffer. The coffee here has always been too weak and their loose-leaf organic green tea tastes so bitter and burnt. Also, I find their drinks to be a little pricey. I drop by with friends once in a while, but I don’t think Lettieri is anything special; it’s okay.

Lettieri is not the place to go for a good coffee, but they sure have amazing loose leaf mint tea. I buy a tin of it from time to time and I love it. This location is good if you want to people watch in Yorkville while drinking your delicious tea.

My favourite Lettieri in the city! NOT my favourite espresso, but a great place to people watch indeed! Plus, you just feel cooler here than at other locations. PATIO, PATIO, PATIO. This is prime real estate, and the place you want to be(weather-permitting, of course). I’ve actually had a few business meetings here too. A great place to suggest if you want to impress in a low-key kind of way. At the same time, it’s great for strictly social purposes as well. It’s a favourite place of mine to stay for a couple hours and catch up with someone I haven’t seen in a long time, or who is visiting the city. The standard selection of snacks and treats are available, and they are actually better than most coffee chain fare.

A great place to stop in and have a coffee. The quality of the coffee is mediocre, but a nice alternative to other chains, i.e. starbucks and second cup. they have a nice selection of salads and paninis, which is what i love about teh lettieri chain. on a nice day you can sit on the narrow/small patio and people watch. it’s a lovely place to be for a couple hours and chat, but not as nice as the courtyard diagonal form this place. *croissant note: don’t bother! it was seriously like eating a bad dinner roll/bread.

This is my favourite Lettieri in the city…(you can’t beat the location for people watching). My second favourite is the one attached to Honest Ed’s(just because it’s attached to Honest Ed’s which is such a cool Toronto landmark) and my third favourite is the one in Bayview Village mall(which is always busy and recently renovated from a counter to a little shop). I come here for the Mango smoothie! It’s delicious — all the smoothies and juices are great — and they feel so healthy and cooling on a hot summer day or even on a winter day, when you’re pretending that it’s summer! I had one yesterday — I needed a vitamin boost — and it did the trick!
