Excellent experience at Leaside Curling Club with a family group; for many of us it was a first introduction to curling. Our instructor Parker was excellent, patient, and kind. I liked the«clubhouse/bar» atmosphere where spectators can view games from the comfortable chairs and an insulated area behind the glass. The curling rink is at the far end of the complex(look for the specific curling rink signs) so that you identify the closest parking spots. Prices reasonable with the max of 8 on a curling sheet(roughly $ 20-$ 30 per person).

I was Leaside Curling Club for a curling bonspiel held by TSSC. It was a great venue, 8 sheets and a large viewing/lounge area. The facilities were super clean. Only downside is that they do not have a kitchen to get some food, but they did offer snacks if you had the munchies after a game. Do not let the dated facilities change your impression. Their staff was super friendly! I hope to be back for another bonspiel in the future!

Went and checked out the great Canadian sport. I was in a group of 6 and with our two hour rink rental we got a lady to show us how to curl. She took the time to explain everything very clearly and let us try various tricks. I was not a very good curler since I have only curled once in high school and I had trouble getting the rock over the required line. But it was quite fun and I recommend Leaside Curling Club to anyone that wants to give this sport a try. It’s best to go with 8 people to minimize the cost per person. With 6 people, for two hours and a lesson, the cost was 24.50 per person.
