I had the worst experience with customer service with Cynthia. She was very very rude. Please beware when you go in, especially if you are purchasing alcohol accompanied by a friend who is clearly not a minor and they happen to touch the alcohol. If they don’t have a driver’s license she will not only refuse to sell you alcohol but will be very very rude about it.

One of the cleanest(they always are anyhow, but doubly this time) and friendliest LCBO’s in town. The staff here know their stuff and are happy to help with any questions customers have. Had a date and was going to have wine by the lake. Asked one of the ladies working the wine section what her choice would be and when she asked what it was for, I told her«I’m taking a girl out for drinks by the lake» and she says jokingly«Here’s your wine, the rest I don’t need to know!». Having a sense of humor is a valuable trait, no matter what your profession. Always leave ‘em laughing, right? This lady was a plus on wine knowledge and humor! I’ve brought put of town friends here, and they say the wine selection has had some wines that you don’t find at other LCBO’s. I’m a Vodka and Single Malt kind of guy, but I haven’t had much of a chance to peruse that selection here. Still, good marks for this location. Worth the trip!

Great selection, I really enjoy their Vintages section but their customer service could really be improved. I mean is it really so hard to be nice or helpful? I find McDonalds &TTC staff members nicer and I spend so little with them vs the LCBO. Considering how much I spend the customer service is much to be desired and probably the worst if You consider the prices I pay for wine. I was holding multiple bottles and I asked the person in the Scotch section for a $ 120 bottle of Scotch. I couldn’t grab it cuz my hands were full so I ask oh where’s the baskets. The service rep looks at me points to the other side of the store and that’s it. I couldn’t grab the bottle so I walked all the way across, and walked back to get the bottle I wanted. Could he have gone to grab it for me? Yes. Could he have offered to take the bottle to the front to save me some time. Yes. Most times the staff are great but overall couldn’t care less that I’m there. This isn’t just this store though. I help out more people who look lost since I know and love wine than most of the«service» reps.

This LCBO serves this trendy housing/entertainment enclave. Since pricing is controlled, LCBOs can only be rated on service and variety. This one is a mid-sized offering of LCBO. Variety is decent for beer and wines, I didn’t get a chance to explore the spirits area much. Service though was nothing special(though to be fair I was there on a Sunday) I had to spend quite a bit of time to have someone help me out. Unfortunately the beer I was looking for wasn’t in stock. Not a bad place to pick up something last minute if you are living or visiting this area. 3 Stars.

On it’s face, this is a pretty standard LCBO. It’s a good size and has the selection you would expect considering it’s location. I’m really just mentioning this store because today I discovered that the LCBO is now carrying Pinnacle vodka. I first tried this stuff a year and a half ago in California. Then when I was in Calgary for Thanksgiving I saw it on shelves there, so I figured it was only a matter of time until it was here too. So far they just have the whipped cream flavour, which is the best in my opinion, but I wish they had the cotton candy flavour as well. Pro tip: Mix the whipped cream vodka with root beer and you have yourself a delicious boozy root beer float.

Yay, gentrification. For all the new hip locations that are growing in Toronto, you need several things to make it liveable. Look at the up-and-coming Liberty Village for example. Grocery store: check. Starbucks: check. Movie rental place: check. Wait a second, where do you buy booze? Thankfully, the LCBO moved in and have you covered. Very new and pristine, this LCBO has a decent run of wines for its size, and an adequate selection of beers as well, but certainly not exhaustive. They have the basics and a little bit beyond. I’ll be surprised if you’re ever surprised about finding a bottle here, when the larger Queens Quay LCBO( ) affords much, much more. This will be a place to go when you realize company is coming over, dinner’s in the stove, and you’re all out of Merlot. This LCBO is to be used in cases of emergency or convenience, but really not much else. No special trip is necessary.
