Kostatex Factory Children’s Wear

This store is so cute! Came looking for a baptism dress for my niece and Alyssa was so helpful (so were all the ladies in the store). The selection was extensive and if they didn’t have the size I needed they offered to order it or showed me other dresses that were in line with what I was looking for. They helped me with not only the dress but all the accessories and even exceeded my expectations by customizing the pieces for me. Love this place!

I came to the store a month before the baptism to choose an outfit. We were able to adjust the outfit to make it custom made for the boy, as he was a little older. How great to have a place to custom make it in the back of their shop!
The young girl helping us was great, energetic, and VERY helpful.
With a busy work schedule I wasn’t able to pick up the outfit until the day before the baptism. When we gave one of the girls the original receipt they said it was to be shipped to them on Wednesday. I said the baptism is tomorrow. One person said the suit hadn’t arrive yet, the owner told us it must have been sold to someone else.
The owner of the store was talking on the phone, helping other people while trying to help us find another suit to replace the one they had sold. We spent over an hour in the store, missed other appointments, and couldn’t offer us anything for the trouble other than 10% off what we already paid. She ensured us the new suit was the «Mercedes Benz» of suits and we’re getting a great deal as this new one is more expensive than the original one we had picked.
This was the most ridiculous experience I have ever had while shopping for a baptism, and I’m Greek with lots of sisters and cousins, I have had lots of experiences. I will never go back there again.

First off, I’m not sure why there aren’t any more reviews of the store because this place is a gem! It was because of the review currently posted that lead me to Kostatex to search for a Baptism garment for my son. I was not disappointed.
From the moment I stepped into the bright and openly laid out store with my son, my experience was nothing but positive. The owner (Miriana) greeted me with open arms as if I were a guest in her home. She is truly a genuine, personable, warm hearted soul who made me feel extremely comfortable even while my son was crying. The same can be said for her associate who was also helping me that day.
Miriana helped me find exactly what I was looking for within my budget in literally 10 minutes or probably less… and with a crying child that is priceless. The item I fell in love with was priced even cheaper than what you may find in a store on Avenue Road so I was sold immediately.
The garments in the entire store are just beautiful and range from formal wear to casual wear all at reasonable prices. Save yourself the wait from shipped items. It is worth the travel to the Danforth as you will get impeccable service (which you lose when shopping online), good value and you get the bonus of grabbing a yummy treat amongst all of the wonderful eateries in the surrounding area.
As a child growing up I was clothed in garments purchased in European stores (not being of European descent) which I know carry good quality wear so I purposely sought a European location. I hope Miriana remembers my face because I will return!

Well today I went to Kostatex Children’s Wear store on the Danforth.
What a find it is.
I looked everywhere to find a christening gown for my great nephew and it was pretty hard.
So much is only available on the web.
Well if you are looking for:
— baptismal outfits
— christening gowns (including the traditional long ones), and outfits for boys
— formal wear for young girls or boys (for flower girl or confirmation or other such events)
Well… LOOK NO FURTHER!
This place is great! So much selection, and the staff and owner couldn’t have been more helpful!
My niece lives out of Toronto, so they let me take pictures and send to her, and then we discussed it on
the phone and we made the choice over which one we wanted.
This is a small family run business but they have been on the Danforth for a long time.
That speaks for itself… and frankly based on the service I had today, they’ll be there for much longer!
So if this is the type of clothing that you are looking for — head on over — you won’t be disappointed! Outfits were available in every price range — so no matter what your needs and budget, you’ll find something here!
(BTW — some other lady was in there — and like me, noticed their new sign and went in and found exactly
what she was looking for).
These folks are few and far between — so to have a shop where you could see the goods, match shoes and socks etc to it — wonderful!
