If I could chose an even LOWER rating I most definitely would! The females that work there are not friendly, especially after a friend of mine was thrown into the display case by a male customer and the staff continued to serve him! He should have been tossed out and banned from any future business there. The female employees must condone physical assaults — especially towards female patrons. By the way, I hope that customer that assaulted my friend enjoys the effects of Nitrite in his colon!!! Happy colonoscopy!!! And as far as the food goes, the employees hurl coughs all over the food and the cashier doesn’t wear a industry-regulated hair net while handling food. Don’t worry, princess, Nitrite-eaters are not there to check you out!

I wandered in here looking to purchase some items for lunch the next day. It’s a small family run shop with chorizo and sausage tempting customers near the front of the store. I was greeted with. Wait a second, I wasn’t greeted at all. Perhaps it was the end of the day(15 minutes until closing) and they just wanted everyone to leave. – But, the grumpy attitude and incredible frowns made me feel bad for being there. I should have just walked out. However, I did want something to eat for tomorrow. I flagged down someone and ordered a small portion of turkey kielbasa. The server sliced and bagged my sausage. Sausage of eternal sadness. I’m never going to return. Thank goodness for Rowe Farms a few stores down, Bloor Meat Market, Parkland Meat Products… basically any nearby butcher that is not Kingsway.

I remember always visiting with my grandma as a child. Always got kolbassa, and those caramel candies. They have an assortment of meats, breads and various other products to choose from. Always seemed busy during the day. A lot of fellow Ukies.

This is a great meat market and deli. The staff is helpful and at the same same time moves fast at a no-time-for-bull pace. The quality of the meat, especially the free-run chicken has always been excellent — and fresh. Awesome smoked bacon and turkey meat. If you want great, fresh meat products at reasonable prices, this is your place. Look forward to trying other smoked meats and sausages.

I have recently discovered this store after shopping around for a local butcher for a couple of months. The fresh meat is very well-priced, the staff are knowledgeable, the meat is fresh and grown in Ontario and the butcher is happy to cut whatever type of meat you want on the spot. Their sausages are delicious, if not a little on the salty side. They also have a large selection of cold meats. I have only tried the Polish Ham and it is delicious and fresh. I have also bought baked cherry cheesecake from the front of the store and it was great. They have a large selection of usual deli favourites(canned and bottled goods) as well as fresh bread. This isn’t the closest butcher to my house, but it is worth the extra 100m or so walk.

Kingsway Meat Products & Deli is a family business and have been serving the Bloor West Village for over 20 years. The interior still have a feel of old traditional meat shop… those sausages hanging in the front area of the store for sure a sight to behold! Selections here includes Polish coil, Sopot Sausage, Chlopska Sausage, Blood Saga just to name a free… and some I never seen before… :P There is also a great selections of Cold Cuts, ham and other smoked products. Jelly Veal Tougue! I don’t know I ready to try that yet… If you not into cooked meat products, at the back of the store there are also fresh meat that you can purchase and cook up a storm at your own house!
