Meet the Business Owner
Kim H.
Business Owner
Back in 1998, Kim first started really working with dogs. At the time she was only a dog groomer, but it was the starting point for her understanding of dogs.
The formal start of Kim’s dog training career came in 2007 when she became a Pet Instructor while working for Petsmart. In 2008, she attended a professional dog training school, known as Sit Means Sit in order to become certified as a remote collar specialist, as the remote collar was a new tool that had began to be marketed to pet owners for training purposes and she wished to be as knowledgable about it as possible and see what benefits it would allow over standard training methods.
Over time, and with the benefit of her training and experience, Kim realized that there were weaknesses within many training methods that were in use. With this realization, Kim believed that there was no single technique that would suit all situations and as such her training methods would uses techniques from a variety of training disciplines.
