Keiko is the best! She is professional and fast. My lashes are always super full and fluffy after and her price is very good much better then the over priced yorkville salons!

Keiko is the fastest in town! She does a great job, makes my lashes full and voluminous. However they don’t last that long. Usually 2 – 2.5 weeks.

it’s a hidden place for eyelashes. I like this place, price is good and the technique is good. Do remember to book an appointment as they are really busy. Have been here for almost a year even it’s a little further from my home. Save me so much time in the morning.

Had extensions done by Keiko herself and never going back again. I came here because the price is very attractive, but just as many things in life, you have to pay to get quality(extensions). I had a picture of how I had it done before, and Keiko still had me choose the extensions myself from a «chart». I chose as best I could but still asked her to confirm that the look will be the same. After a very short(40 min) application I looked in the mirror and was extremely disappointed: instead of the curled look that would open up my eyes that I wanted, I got a drooping look that made my eyes look smaller. The extensions were put by 2 – 3 lashes, not individually, and both my eyes burned significantly during the procedure. The lashes starting falling out the next day, even though I followed the protocol(again, not my first time). As a side note, Keiko had a cigarette to smoke when I came in for my scheduled appointment, and hovered over me with a smelly breath(not to mentioned smelly fingers on my eyes). Needless to say, going back to my original, albeit more expensive, place.

I found out about keiko through a friend that had gone there many times with surprisingly no issues but sadly my first time will certainly be my last. One the first day my eyelashes looked very nice and full but on the second day they started clumping together and no matter how much brushing I did they would still stay the same! Today is the fifth day that I’ve had these put on and already there is a very noticeable gap of a few eyelashes missing. Worried about how horrendous my eyelashes looked I began to do some research about eyelash extensions. I know that it is a bit late but at least now I am properly informed. Keiko took 30 mins each to do my eyelashes and also another 30 for my friends and when My friend said«you’re so fast keiko» keiko responded with«not really»… Eyelash extensions are supposed to go 1 mm on your real eyelashes and only 1 single eyelash extension hair at a time ultimately leading to the 1.5 hours — 2 hours application process. My lashes were applied directly to my eyelid and each time a new one was applied I felt a poke but because I was uninformed as to how the professional process should’ve gone like I did not speak up. Applying lashes directly onto the eyelid affects the new lashes that are growing out and will leave someone very uncomfortable because they are being poked every time they blink because their eyelashes have to now grow out in a different direction. Also I noticed lashes on my pillow that did fall out were«stacked» meaning instead of applying single false lashes to single real lash they were applying 2 fake lashes to my eyelid and this way cuts corners so they can serve more people. I also brought a friend that day and the both of us told keiko it was our first time getting our eyelashes done and I am very disappointed in the results. I am going on vacation in 2 days and I am embarrassed to appear with these on my eyes. They are falling down, pointed in different directions, poking me when I close my eyes together and also some missing gaps.

Keiko is the best! She’s got the best skills in the business! Too bad I live in Chicago now, but every time I come back to the city, I make sure she’s my first stop!

Got my first eyelash extensions done here by Keiko herself. To start, this is run out of a residence which was absolutely fine with me. The place was a bit small but hey, they got the job done. Customer service was mediocre. To be honest, I was expecting a little more friendliness but good thing my friend was there so I felt less awkward and tried not to pay too much attention to it. The procedure itself was OKAY. Keiko was very quick. I did wish she would have tell me what she was doing or be more instructive, such as «turn your head, close your eyes, etc.» rather than turning my head herself. Maybe it’s just me. I also felt very rushed… Keiko was a few minutes late whereas I was 5 – 10 mins early as they requested. She also didn’t know that I was her client. Anyways, it was painless and I fell asleep for a bit during the procedure. The lashes — I got«natural long» eyelashes in silk. I believe she mixed the 12 and 13? Honestly, I hated them. My friend loved them though but I think I should have been more descriptive with Keiko about what I wanted. The lashes were very dramatic whereas I am a minimalist and simple. The lashes were WAY too long for me. They curved downward and into my eye. Everytime I blinked, it was extremely uncomfortable because it would rub against my eye and my contacts! Or the lashes would twist and turn and poke my eye! I was debating on coming back to take them off! The lashes also made my eyes look veryyyyyyy dopey. I was hoping for the cat eye look to elongate my eyes — instead, my eyes seemed smaller and rounder. I did my lashes about 8 days ago. A lot of my extensions fell out… They look a lot more natural now which I assume Keiko knew would happen and overloaded me with eyelashes in the beginning. But, I’m a bit concerned because I was under the impression that eyelash extensions could last about 4−5weeks? If this is what it looks like after one week I’m a bit iffy about doing extensions in general. In general, price is good compared to the competitors. You get what you pay for. Lashes are good but you have to be more descriptive. If I were to get extensions again, I would definitely go back here. Let’s just hope they don’t hate me after this review :$ :)

I have been doing my eye lash extensions with Keiki for about 2 years now. I live in Ottawa but I would make the drive to go see her every month because it’s worth my time and money. I am never disappointed with my lashes. They can last up to 5 – 6 weeks when I get them at Keikos. Last summer, I went to a fancy salon and paid $ 150 to get a refill done in Ottawa, and it was NOTNEARLYCLOSE to the quality that I get from Keiko; AND it took almost 2 hours to get it as full as I normally get at Keikos which would only take 45 mins max! It is a home base(cash only too) business in a commercial AND residential zoned property. Parking at the plaza right across which is super convenient! I get the silk done all the time because it feels so much lighter than mink and looks amazing! Don’t cheap out the extra $ 10! It’s soooo worth it!

Hello ladies! I’ve been seeing Keiko for probably4+ years now and I have to be honest this is my go to place for lashes. For one it is super affordable compared to anywhere else I’ve ever been or seen and they do a fantastic job everytime using high quality Japanese products. I’ve gotten eyelash extensions in other parts of the world including Asia when I’m away on vacation and the quality and length isn’t even on par to what they offer here. Let me tell you though this place is very busy and appointments are mandatory. Damien makes the appointments and he is a pleasure to see when you walk through the door! One of the previous reviews mentioned this place is run as an illegal business because it is in a house BUT I assure you it’s a commercial property and like any other honest business owner they pay their taxes and are a registered business– they’re smart to run this place just the way it is so us clients can pay low prices for such a great service! ! I recommend this eyelash extension establishment to anyone who wants to wake up every morning looking beautiful or just cut their eye makeup application time in half. And for those who have ever had a bad experience here I encourage you to let Keiko know and she will go out of her way to address your issues. Thank you to Keiko, Satomi, chikako and Damien for all your hard work! These lashes have definitely changed my look and I’ll never go back to strip lashes again! PS don’t let the haters let you guys down! You’re doing an amazing job and making hundreds of women feel so much more confident with your beautiful lashes! See you guys in a few weeks!

By far the best place for lashes. Keiko’s salon is home based which means you aren’t paying extra for overhead but the charming décor reminds me of the cute salons in Japan. I’ve been coming to Keiko for over 5 years now and I’ve never been disappointed. I prefer the silk lashes and get a refill once every 4 to 5 weeks. If you’ve never had lash extensions before, you should know they aren’t for everyone. If your eyes are super sensitive, you could have a reaction. I’ve tried other salons and have heard some horror stories of lash technicians that poke at your eyes and are all around rough. Rest assured you won’t experience that with Keiko. In fact, I usually fall asleep while she’s applying the lashes and I enjoy the mid-day nap.

I would not go back to this place. First of all, I’m not sure what those previous reviews are saying. This place is NOT a shop, it is a HOUSE. It is not a legal business but rather, a front room with two cots on the floor, and Keiko and two workers who work over you with desk lamps. And don’t believe them when you call and say that their refills are done for everyone. Because when you get there is when they inform you the refills can only be done for their lashes but it is real cheap to do theirs and then the refills will just be cheaper from here on in. Sure, the lashes look great, but then they start poking at you and you develop an infection/rash above your eye. Buyers beware, you get what you paid for, and sometimes more than you bargained for.

I’ve been coming to Keiko’s Eyelash’s(Keiko specifically) for 3 years now and nothing but kindness from her and all her staff! They are very welcoming and funny! They always respond to my appointment requests within an hour(they are busy people so getting a response that quick is amazing!). It’s GREAT because I usually forget when my appointments are and they send you a reminder message 24 hours before your appointment! Special occasion or everyday Keiko’s Eyelash’s are totally affordable and look AMAZING!!! I have referred a lot of my friends and Keiko and her staff ALWAYS treat them well! You don’t get the feeling that the staff are judging you like how you’d feel going to a salon and paying triple the amount! They are all super cute and play fun dancey Kpop and Jpop! No one will regret coming here!!!
