Business Owner

Kate (short for Katelyn) learned how to look after and arrange flowers growing up in Burlington. Her mother was a rose farmer in the 70’s and had a hand in establishing ’ The Clock’, where Ontario flower growers and importers auction off plants and fresh cut flowers every morning, in Mississauga. Kate’s natural, homespun aesthetic with flowers is a welcome contrast against the sometimes-​harsh lines of our modern/​industrial cityscape. Inspired by northern Ontario, Muskoka and Georgian Bay in particular, her style is comforting, whimsical and organic; using river rocks, antique mason jars, birch bark and moss to remind city folk to slow down and enjoy what is uniquely Canadian.

While naturally inclined to keep things rustic, Kate can quickly adapt her designs to suit any request. Whether it’s clean and modern arrangements for a downtown restaurant or a contemporary and elegant bridal bouquet.
