Decided to give this place a chance after reading reviews. Saw a review where there was a mention of stains not being lifted. Was hesitant but decided anyways. When I brought in dry cleaning she mentioned to me that specific stains may not be lifted but she tells you ahead of time so you don’t waste your $. Also, if there are any issues Tooyet? takes care of them to make sure you’re happy.

Spent $ 81 for laundry, pressing and dry cleaning only to find most of my items with remaining stains (not even slightly lifted) and barely pressed. There was no mention of this upon pick up.

I had a bad experience at a dry cleaning/​alteration place on Broadview Ave. and needed to find another place to have my pants hemmed. I found JB on Unilocal with such positive reviews, so I decided to check it out. I dropped two pairs off last week, picked them up yesterday, and paid $ 7 for each pair plus tax. The workmanship is great; the prices are very reasonable (the place at Broadview charged twice as much, and the work was so shoddy…); and they are super, super friendly. I couldn’t ask for more. I will be bringing all my remaining unaltered clothes to get hemmed/​fixed here. Thank you! :)

I’ve been going here for years (dry cleaning, alterations & tailoring). Tuyet is great. She works with you to make sure you’re comfortable with the final look of whatever it is you’re having done. I’m petite, so I’ve had her make adjustments to dresses, coats, pants and denim (always Euro hem). If she can’t do something, she tells me. I’ve also had two very expensive jackets (one down and the other leather) cleaned at JB. They did a great job on both. I believe she sends the leather to another company. I’ve recommended this place to many friends and they love it.

Tuyet provides the best service and results. She is a pleasure to deal with, her work is excellent and her prices are very reasonable. Have been going here for years and telling my friends as well. Best part is she has free street parking right in front of the store.

I went here for a simple alteration (shortening) of new dress pants I had bought. They were really friendly and helpful, and took very little time to measure me. They also bent the rules and had my pants ready earlier than the usual time of one week since I had a wedding to go to! And the price was very reasonable at only $ 8 + tax, I believe. I definitely recommend it, and will go here again when in need for alterations in the future. I cannot, however, speak for their dry-​cleaning business.

I have been here many times for simple alterations — hemming pants, lengthening cuffs and the like. Great service, great prices. $ 8 to hem pants.
Short story: The first time I went there was for a simple hem. When I came back a week later to pick it up, Tuyet remembered my name and didn’t even look up my receipt. It’s a busy place, and it amazes me that she can do that.
Two years later and she remembers me by name. I only go every few months for a hem here and there. I don’t think she has ever had to look at my receipt number either.
Everyone there for drycleaning or alternations is always happy.
