Is this the world’s best shawarma? Maybe not. But it is the only shawarma place left at Yonge and St. Clair, so that says something. A wrap comes in under $ 6 and is just the right size for lunch.

Fresh and healthy lunches within a reasonable price. Jaspers Deli has a small self serve salad bar and I recommend the bean salad, vinegar cucumbers and chickpea salad. I had that with some fruit salad and I was good to go! The only downside is that they are cash only and do not provide a formal receipt with the items you ordered.

jaspers deli is a soup /sandwich /salad bar that is consistent, fresh, reasonably priced and delicious. it is located in the underground food court at the north-east corner of king and wellington. they have a self-serve salad bar which includes varieties of pasta salads, bean salads, veggies, potato salad, caeser salad(and more)… a small is $ 3 something and that is usually enough because you can cram it full. they have delicious soups. I have tried the cream of tomato, cream of mushroom and wonton. they usually have pea soup and a couple other varieties. a small is $ 2. they have pretty much every kind of bread and sandwich that they have prepared or will make fresh for you, toasted if you want it toasted. they have a variety of combos. depending on how hungry i am, i eat lunch there for between $ 2 and $ 6 dollars.
