Suffocation best describes the services given at this location. The rep was sooooo annoying. She didn’t even ask for what we were looking for and kept bringing us what she normally wears in sizes that aren’t even our size it was like she was having a conversation with herself or something … Like every min she brought me something new to try on… It made me feel frustrated annoyed nauseated and obviously did not want to buy anything ever from here again.
I will be going to the other locations from now on to get proper service.

The staff at this J Crew were so amazingly helpful. I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service while shopping here. This J Crew was having a crazy sale when I visited. The store was really a mess but the staff on the floor, in the fitting room, at the cashier all maintained a positive, upbeat, and friendly attitude while trying to organize the store and help the mob of customers. The sizes I need were missing on the floor. The staff here went above and beyond to find them. The sweet always smiling lady helping me, Caroline, went to their stock room several times to find my sizes. I gave up before she did! I also noticed a great team work happening here between the employees. Every employee I saw was happy to help and support each other in the chaos. People were just so friendly… is this a Canadian thing?
Caroline on the floor, you are just so awesome! I was shopping here on 7÷7÷2013 and you were wonderful and patient when at least 3 or more customers were fighting for your attention. You were helping multiple people but never forgot about me. J Crew is lucky to have you as an employee. I hope your supervisor sees this and give you a well-​deserved recognition.

They launched their (Canadian) flagship store at Yorkdale in August 2011. and I’m sooooo super happy that I can shop J. Crew at store level now, I love their online selection, but nothing beats GREAT face to face customer service.
I went in with a friend who bought a handbag and we were treated like royalty the whole time and by everyone we encountered. I would like to give special recognition to one individual specifically PADDY WILLIAMS, it’s been three months and I still remember his name that’s how helpful he was.
The prices are slightly steep but nowadays with other stores trimming back the quality but not the price you can rest assured your special pieces will last the test of time when you invest in J.Crew. A must visit for every fashionista.

J. Crew, America’s answer to Club Monaco on acid hit Canada last year. What was once an ode to Ralph Lauren-​esque preppy workwear (Cable knit brights, polos and all) is now the home of menswear inspired women’s clothing, sequins and skinny jeans in every colour imaginable thanks to the creative process of Jenna Lyons.

–Unique items you won’t find anywhere else. –Where else can you find a kelly green pencil skirt or violet ballet flats for $ 150.

I want to mention that while about 40% of my wardrobe is from J. Crew, most of it was purchased either in the US or online. I just find the prices in the Toronto store to not be reflective of those in my American catalogue to want to impulse buy at the brick and mortar store just yet.
Just that Canadian retail paradox.
