Description

History

Established in 1944.

The Imperial Pub was founded by Jack Newman in 1944, whose son Fred operates it to this day. The Library lounge replaced twelve hotel rooms in 1973, when a rooftop patio was also opened.

Meet the Manager

Ricky N.

Manager

My great-grandfather, Sam, bought the Imperial Hotel in 1944. His son, Jack, was put in charge and ran the pub, with my father Fred, for more than 50 years. I grew up watching cartoons and crawling around on the pool tables saturday mornings before the pub opened. I work at the pub with my dad and my cousin, Mo (bartender and manager extrordinaire). As a trained chef, I am presently striving to develop a menu of unfussy pub-style food prepared from scratch. I value your input enormously.
