I agree with Will O. These people are liars. My son visited the store with his laptop after talking to me. He is not computer savy and I told him I thought he just needed a new power cord. He brought his computer in anyway to another store and was directed to Hi Tech direct where he was told they would have the power cord he needed. The laptop had been at 7% before he left home. When the computer was turned on the screen was dim. The person at the store told my son the screen was shot and that it would cost $ 150 to have it repaired. He made this evaluation without examining the laptop. When my son phoned me I consulted with my neice and she told me that low power could cause a screen to fade. I relayed this info to my son who took his laptop home and went back to purchase a power cord. When he got back home he plugged it in and the laptop and screen were just fine. I’m glad he didn’t leave his laptop there or he would have been at the mercy of these cheats. I’m sorry he even had to buy a power cord there. Warning; be wary of this dishonest store. Shame on them

People from this store lied to me and caused inconvenience, and then refused to refund a product I did not need because of their lies.
Needed a compact flash card and reader in a hurry. The website said there were 10 cards in stock. I called to confirm and when told there were cards, (and was quoted the same price as the website) I also asked if there was a card reader in stock and what the price was. I then recapped to confirm that there was a compact flash card AND reader and the guy on the phone said «Yes».
I get there and I’m told they don’t have compact flash cards, only readers. So I bought the reader thinking I could get a card somewhere else. I wasn’t able to find a card, and now it’s too late and I don’t need the reader so I called to ask if I could return the $ 12.99 reader for refund. No refunds, only store credit, I’m told. Even after explaining that I was either misinformed or straight up LIED to, I was still refused credit, and I was told that I was told on the phone that they did not have any cards.
That was a lie, and I can’t accept a business that will inconvenience and lie to people and then not do anything to make up for it.
Businesses need to respect their customers.

This is the fifth I visited in this area in my epic search for RAM for my macbook yesterday. FIFTH. By that time, I was frustrated, cold, damp from the rain and just all-​around pissed off. I went to their other storefront a few doors east and was assured that they had what I was looking for at this one. The guy even called them for me, not like the damn Canada Computers guys who let me run there in the rain and come out empty handed. I came in and the man behind the counter was friendly and incredibly helpful. He found the RAM I needed easily, and even had the kind of iphone case I was looking for (thick silicone). Most people I have asked about that case in the past month have stared at me, slack-​jawed, so this was a marked improvement.
The price was also on par with what other places were offering online, so I was happy. Though at that point, I’d probably pay more because I was so fed up with the whole journey.
Very happy with these guys, I’ll have to check them out again next time I need something for my computers.
