–Tours of Toronto neighbourhoods for citizens and tourists (April to October). This is our 21^st year of the tours — let us make your day spent exploring the city great! We offer bike, bus and walking tours.

–Research, creation and maintenance of historical plaques & markers telling the stories of the people, places and events that made Toronto what it is today

–Recognition of outstanding contributions to the preservation of Toronto’s history /​heritage through the annual Heritage Toronto Awards & William Kilbourn Memorial Lecture (October)

–Other historical and heritage-​related programming and events year-​round

Heritage Toronto is a charitable arms-​length agency of the City of Toronto established in 1949 to promote a greater appreciation for the city’s rich architectural, cultural, archaeological and natural heritage. Through partnerships with local community groups and volunteers, Heritage Toronto provides city-​wide programs and services.
